Rep Coach Privacy Policy

Marutomi Labs, operated by MARUTOMI K.K. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), establishes this Privacy Policy for the mobile application Rep Coach (“the App”).

1. Information We Collect

The App does not operate a developer-controlled server and does not transmit user-created workout data to us.

The App does not use:

• User account registration

• Advertising services

• Analytics or crash-reporting services

• Behavioral tracking

• Advertising identifiers

• Location information

• Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data

We do not collect, sell, or share users’ personal information.

2. Information Stored on the Device

The following information may be stored locally on the user’s device:

• Workout programs, folders, and exercise names

• Timer modes, duration, repetitions, sets, and tempo

• Training weights

• Workout history, completion dates, and performance records

• Language, coach voice, sound, volume, vibration, theme, and timer settings

• Local status required to determine access to Pro features

This information is stored only within the App’s local storage. We cannot access or retrieve this information remotely.

3. Backup and Restore

The App allows users to export and import workout programs and settings.

Backup files are created only when the user performs the export operation and are saved to a location selected by the user. Backup files are not automatically uploaded or transmitted to us.

Users are responsible for managing and protecting their exported backup files.

4. In-App Purchases Through Google Play

The App communicates with Google Play through Google Play Billing to purchase the Pro version, verify purchase status, and restore previous purchases.

All payment processing is performed by Google Play. We do not obtain or store payment information such as credit card numbers or billing account details.

The App stores only the local information required to determine whether Pro features are available.

5. Device Permissions

The App may use the following Android permissions and system features:

• Notifications: To display information while a workout timer is running

• Vibration: To provide feedback when workout phases change

• Wake lock: To keep the screen or timer active during a workout

• Foreground service and media playback: To continue timer audio while the App is running in the background

These permissions are used only to provide the App’s timer and workout functions. They are not used for advertising, tracking, or collecting personal information.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not collect user-created workout data or personal information and therefore do not sell, rent, or disclose such information to third parties.

Purchase-related information is processed by Google Play in accordance with Google’s terms and privacy policy.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Information stored by the App remains on the user’s device until the user deletes it through the App or uninstalls the App.

Uninstalling the App generally removes information stored in the App’s private storage. Exported backup files are stored separately and must be deleted by the user from the location where they were saved.

Because the App does not require an account and we do not maintain user data on our servers, no separate account deletion request is required.

8. Security

The App stores workout information locally and does not transmit it to a developer-controlled server.

Users are responsible for protecting their devices and exported backup files by using appropriate device security measures, such as screen locks and secure storage.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s functions, applicable laws, or Google Play requirements change.

Any changes will be published on this page. Material changes may also be announced within the App or through the Google Play store listing.

Marutomi Labs（運営：MARUTOMI K.K.、以下「当方」といいます）は、スマートフォン向けアプリ「Rep Coach」（以下「本アプリ」といいます）における利用者情報の取り扱いについて、以下のとおりプライバシーポリシーを定めます。

1. 取得・送信する情報

本アプリは、利用者の個人情報または個人を特定できる情報を、当方のサーバーその他の外部サーバーへ送信、収集または共有しません。

本アプリには、アカウント登録、広告配信、アクセス解析および行動追跡の機能はありません。また、広告IDを取得しません。

2. 端末内に保存される情報

本アプリは、機能を提供するため、以下の情報を利用者の端末内に保存します。

• ワークアウトのプログラム、種目名およびフォルダ

• タイマーのモード、時間、回数、セット数およびテンポ

• トレーニングで入力した重量

• ワークアウト履歴、実施日時および記録

• 言語、音声、音量、テーマ、振動などのアプリ設定

• Pro版の利用状態を示す端末内キャッシュ

これらの情報は本アプリの専用領域に保存され、当方が取得または閲覧することはありません。

3. バックアップおよび復元

本アプリには、利用者の操作によってプログラムや設定をバックアップまたは復元する機能があります。バックアップファイルは、利用者が選択した端末内または利用者が管理する保存先に書き出されます。

本アプリがバックアップファイルを当方のサーバーへ自動的に送信することはありません。バックアップファイルの保管および削除は利用者自身で管理するものとします。

4. Google Playでのアプリ内購入

本アプリでは、Pro版を利用するための買い切り型アプリ内購入を提供します。決済処理はGoogle Playによって行われます。当方がクレジットカード番号などの支払情報を取得または保存することはありません。

購入状態の確認および復元には、Google Play Billingが使用されます。Googleによる情報の取り扱いについては、Googleのプライバシーポリシーをご確認ください。

5. 端末の権限

本アプリは、機能の提供に必要な範囲で、次の権限または端末機能を使用する場合があります。

• 通知：タイマー実行中の状態を表示するため

• 振動：フェーズの切り替わりを知らせるため

• 画面の点灯維持：ワークアウト中に画面が消灯することを防ぐため

• フォアグラウンドサービスおよびメディア再生：バックグラウンドでも音声タイマーを継続するため

これらの権限を、広告、追跡または個人情報の収集目的で使用することはありません。

6. 第三者への提供

当方は、本アプリを通じて利用者の個人情報を取得しないため、第三者への販売、貸与または提供を行いません。

ただし、Google Playでの購入処理については、Googleが自社の規約およびプライバシーポリシーに基づいて情報を処理します。

7. データの保存期間および削除

端末内のデータは、利用者が本アプリ内で削除するか、本アプリをアンインストールするまで保存されます。アプリをアンインストールすると、通常、本アプリの専用領域に保存されたデータは端末から削除されます。

利用者が書き出したバックアップファイルは自動的には削除されません。不要になった場合は、利用者自身で保存先から削除してください。

本アプリには利用者アカウントがないため、アカウント削除の手続きはありません。

8. 安全管理

本アプリは、利用者情報を外部へ送信せず、必要なデータを原則として端末内に保存することで、外部への漏えいリスクの低減に努めています。ただし、端末やバックアップファイルの管理については、利用者自身で適切なセキュリティ対策を行ってください。

9. 本ポリシーの変更

本アプリの機能、利用するサービスまたは法令等の変更に伴い、本ポリシーを改定することがあります。重要な変更がある場合は、本ページまたは本アプリ内でお知らせします。改定後のプライバシーポリシーは、本ページに掲載した時点から適用されます。
