This privacy policy applies to the Smart Remote app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by TVAppz (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad-Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
1. Information Collection and Use
The Application requires certain permissions and collects specific information to function properly as a remote control for your Android TV:
Local Network & Wi-Fi State: The Application requires access to your network state to discover and connect to your Android TV on the same local network. The Application does not track your location or transmit your Wi-Fi information externally.
Microphone Access (Audio Data): The Application requires microphone permission to enable the Voice Assistant feature for your Android TV. Audio data is processed ephemerally and transmitted directly to your TV via the local network. The Service Provider does not record, store, or send your audio data to any external servers.
Usage Data: We may collect non-personally identifiable information such as the time spent on the Application and the operating system version to improve the service.
2. Third-Party Services and Advertising
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, provide analytics, and serve advertisements. By using the Application, you consent to the data practices of these third-party services.

Yandex Ads Network (Yandex) - Used to serve banner, interstitial, native, and rewarded advertisements within the Application.
Google Analytics for Firebase - Used for crash reporting and app usage analytics.
3. Disclosure of Information
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
4. Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.
5. Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider does not store your personal data on their servers. Settings and pairing configurations (such as TV IP addresses and authentication tokens) are stored locally on your device and can be cleared by removing the paired TV from the Application's settings or clearing the app data.
6. Children's Privacy
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider so that necessary actions can be taken.
7. Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Connections to your Android TV are secured using TLS encryption where supported by the pairing protocol.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
