• We DO NOT collect your personal data

• We DO NOT track your activity or location

• We DO NOT share your information with third parties

• We DO NOT use analytics or advertising services

• We DO NOT store your payment information (handled by Apple)

How We Use Your Information

All data you enter in Rememberly is:

• Stored locally on your device using Core Data

• Used only to provide birthday reminders and app functionality

• Never sold or shared with third parties

Data Storage

Local Storage

• All birthday data is stored locally on your device using Core Data

• If you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed

iCloud Sync (Premium Feature)

• Premium users can enable iCloud backup and sync

• When enabled, your birthday data is stored in your personal iCloud account

• We DO NOT have access to your iCloud data

• iCloud data is protected by Apple's security measures

• You control iCloud sync in Settings

• Disabling iCloud sync or deleting the app removes synced data

Third-Party Services

AI Wish Generation

• Birthday wishes are generated using Claude AI (Anthropic)

• Data sent: Only the person's name, age, and optional custom prompt

• Generated wishes are NOT stored or logged by us

• AI requests are processed securely and deleted immediately

• No personal data is retained after generation

Apple In-App Purchases

• Subscriptions are processed by Apple

• We DO NOT store payment information

• Apple handles all billing and payment processing

• Subscription status is stored locally on your device

Rememberly requests the following optional permissions:

Notifications

• Purpose: Send birthday reminders

• Optional: You can disable notifications in Settings

Contacts (Optional)

• Purpose: Import birthdays from your contacts

• Data: Only names and birthdays are accessed

• Storage: Data remains on your device only

Calendar (Optional)

• Purpose: Import birthday events from your calendar

• Data: Only event titles and dates are accessed

• Storage: Data remains on your device only

Photos (Optional)

• Purpose: Add profile pictures to birthday entries

• Storage: Photos remain on your device only

iCloud (Premium Only)

• Purpose: Backup and sync birthdays across your devices

• Storage: Data stored in your personal iCloud account

• You control this feature in Settings

Premium Subscription

What We Collect

• Subscription status (active/inactive)

• Purchase receipts (validated through Apple)

What We Don't Collect

• Payment details (handled by Apple)

• Credit card information

How It Works

• Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store

• Billing is handled entirely by Apple

• We only verify your subscription status locally

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data stored in the app

• Delete individual birthday entries

• Clear all data at once (Settings → Data → Clear All Data)

• Disable iCloud sync at any time

• Cancel subscriptions through App Store settings

• Uninstall the app to remove all local data permanently

Children's Privacy

Rememberly does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed to help users remember birthdays, not to collect data from minors.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• All data is stored locally on your device with iOS security

• iCloud data is protected by Apple's encryption

• No data transmission to our servers (except AI generation with minimal data)

• AI requests use secure HTTPS connections

• No data is retained after AI generation

Data Retention

• Local data: Stored until you delete it or uninstall the app

• iCloud data: Stored until you disable sync or delete the app

• AI requests: Not stored, processed and deleted immediately

• Subscription data: Stored locally, deleted when subscription expires

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top

• Posting a notice in the app (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

International Users

Rememberly is available worldwide. By using the app:

• Data processing occurs on your device

• iCloud data is stored in your iCloud region

• AI requests are processed by Anthropic (USA)

• You consent to the practices described in this policy
