About Me: This is my twentieth year in the school district. Originally from Northwest Jersey, I've come to make my home in South Jersey over the last few years. I am a two-time graduate of Stockton University. Here, I earned my bachelor's degree in Literature ('01) and a second bachelor's degree in Education ('03). Over the past twenty years I have taught a wide variety of classes, ranging from HSPA to SRA to English IV to CP English III & IV to Holocaust and Genocide Studies, and most recently World Mythology. In addition to teaching I have taken an active role in the school community. I have served as an active member on the K-12 Language Arts Curriculum Team and the High School Curriculum Cohort Committee. I have also served as the advisor to S.A.D.D. and co-advisor to REBEL and the National Honor Society. Each of these has given me the opportunity to become familiar with the needs of secondary school-aged children in and outside of the classroom. During my time in the district I have also continued my own education, earning my ESL (English as a Second Language) Certification, graduating a third time from Stockton University in December of '06, earning Masters Degree in Education with a concentration in Language Arts/Literacy as well as completing my New Jersey Standard Supervisor Certificate. In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, going to concerts and baseball games, and spending time with my family and friends.
