Privacy Policy for Regulation Companion app
Last updated: 6/8/2026
Regulation Companion ("the App") is designed with your privacy as a priority. This policy explains how the App handles information.
Data Collection
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any external server or third party. All features — including breathing exercises, thought distancing, bilateral stimulation, and self-compassion exercises — run entirely on your device.
Certain interface preferences, such as your Settings choices (e.g. text size, default speed, haptic settings) and any reminder times you set, are saved locally on your device so they persist between sessions. This information stays on your device only — it is never uploaded, transmitted, logged, or shared with any third party.
No content you enter or interact with during an exercise (such as thoughts typed into the Thought Distancing exercise) is saved, logged, uploaded, or shared with any third party.
No Account Required
The App does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use it.
No Analytics or Tracking
The App does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking technologies of any kind.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with third-party services that collect user data.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, as it collects no information at all.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in the future — for example, if new features are added that involve data handling — this page will be updated accordingly, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
