Supplies: Zip type bag, permanent markers, water, tape and a window to place it in.
Following the example shown, make sure you put an area on your bag where the water comes from like a puddle, lake or even the ocean. Water molecules will speed up and separate when they get energy from light, heat, and when available, wind. When this happens, water molecules separate and become water vapor. This process is called evaporation. Water vapor collects at the top of the bag where the clouds would be. This is called condensation. When the vapor starts to accumulate enough to make a water droplet, gravity brings it back down to earth as precipitation (rain, snow, sleet, hail). This can be seen as water droplets forming at the top of the bag after it is exposed to light from a window. When the droplets drip down, that is our precipitation.
