Do you know of a leader (any staff member) who has positively impacted the professional life of a paraeducator; someone who includes paraeducators as part of the professional learning team; someone who promotes a culture of collaboration on behalf of students? Now is your chance to nominate this outstanding person for Leadership Award.
Do you know an eager, earnest, effective, efficient, encouraging enthusiastic paraeducator*/teacher team who every day endeavors to enrich their students’ lives? (A Paraeducator/Teacher Team should include at least one paraeducator and at least one certified staff member. )
Do you know of a PARAEDUCATOR who is as dependable, determined, brave, inspiring, committed? Maybe someone with all of the above and a heart as big as the mountains.
The Yes I Can! International Awards Program was established in 1981 to celebrate the achievements of children and youth with disabilities; to encourage children and youth with disabilities to seek their highest potential; and to increase public awareness of the abilities, aspirations, and personal qualities of people with disabilities.
Each year children and youth with disabilities (ages 2-21) are recognized for their accomplishments through the Yes I Can! International Awards Program. Yes I Can! Awards nominations will be accepted in the following categories:
- ♦ Academics ♦ Arts ♦ Athletics
- ♦ Community Service ♦ Employment ♦ Extracurricular Activities
- ♦ Independent Living Skills ♦ Self-Advocacy ♦ Technology
The state of Montana recognizes one student from each of the five CSPD Regions. Winners will be recognized at the Montana Council for Exceptional Children Conference Awards Luncheon in 2020.
Winners from each region will be invited to submit further nominations to the International CEC Conference in the upcoming year.
