RefurbRadar Privacy Policy

RefurbRadar ("the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Account information: When you create a RefurbRadar account, we collect your email address. This is stored securely in our database (Supabase, hosted in the EU) and used solely to authenticate you and provide the service.

Property and viewing data: When you log a property viewing, the information you enter (addresses, checklist responses, cost estimates, notes) is stored in your account on our secure database. This allows your data to sync across devices and persist if you reinstall the app.

AI assistant queries: If you use the RadarAssist AI feature (Pro subscribers), the questions you ask and relevant property context are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response, processed in accordance with Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy. Conversation history is stored locally on your device only.

Subscription and payment information: Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and managed via RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Usage data: We track basic usage counts (number of properties viewed, daily AI assistant usage) to enforce subscription tier limits. This data is tied to your account and not shared with third parties.

• To enforce subscription tier limits (free, Starter, Pro)

• To power the AI assistant feature (RadarAssist)

• To manage your subscription status via RevenueCat

DATA SHARING

We do not sell or share your personal information for marketing purposes. Limited data is shared with:

• Supabase — for secure account and data storage (EU hosted)

• Anthropic — for AI assistant queries (Pro feature only)

• RevenueCat — for subscription management

• Apple/Google — for payment processing

YOUR RIGHTS (UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access your data — export it via Settings → Export my data

• Delete your data — delete your account via Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data.

DATA RETENTION

Your data is retained while your account is active. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data from our systems within 30 days.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

RefurbRadar is not directed at children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
