I am an Assistant Professor in the Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University. I am interested in the planning and design of logistics and transportation systems, with a special focus on system optimization and design under uncertainty. Prior to joining Purdue, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Pascal Van Hentenryck at the Artificial Intelligence Institute for Advances in Optimization (AI4OPT) at Georgia Tech, working on research that leverages AI and optimization to solve modern logistics and supply chain challenges.
I completed my PhD in Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech, where I was co-advised by Alan Erera and Alejandro Toriello. Before that, I received my B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and M.S. in Engineering Management from Qatar University, where I spent 5 years after undergrad working on projects related to student success and retention, quality assurance, and strategic planning.
Research Interests
Supply chain design and operations; facility logistics; system modeling and optimization; robust and stochastic optimization; machine learning for constrained optimization
