Jesus Barreiro-Hurle is senior scientist at the Economics of Agriculture unit of the Joint Research Center of the European Commission. He has more than 20 years' experience in agricultural and environmental economics focusing mainly on farmer and consumer behavior. He has worked for the Spanish National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA), the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the European Commission. He is the section editor for Agricultural Economics at the Spanish Journal of Agricultural Research (SJAR).

Isabelle Bonjean is currently a post-doc working on the understanding of farmer's risk preferences and supply chain arrangements to design more sustainable European Agricultural Policies. She performs rigorous empirical research with strong theoretical background and mechanism discussion. She has experience in survey design and the collection and analysis of first-hand data in Europe, South-America and Africa.

Douadia Bougherara is a research fellow at the Center for Environmental Economics of Montpellier (CEE-M). She works on agri-environmental policies, eco-labeling schemes, local food supply and on the elicitation of social and risk preferences of farmers and consumers.
