Jesús Barreiro-Hurlé is senior scientist at the Economics of Agriculture unit of the Joint Research Center of the European Commission. He has more than 20 years' experience in agricultural and environmental economics focusing mainly on farmer and consumer behavior. He has worked for the Spanish National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA), the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the European Commission. He is the section editor for Agricultural Economics at the Spanish Journal of Agricultural Research (SJAR).
