The Redpill ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.
The Redpill is designed with privacy at its core. We collect minimal information:
Data stored locally on your device: Your recovery progress, streak data, check-in history, mood logs, quiz responses, app preferences, and notification settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device.
Subscription information: If you subscribe to Redpill Pro, your purchase is processed by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and purchase receipt — no personal information such as your name or email is shared.
No account required: The Redpill does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the app.
We want to be clear about what we do not do:
We do not collect or store your name, email, phone number, or address.
We do not track your browsing history or online activity.
We do not collect location data.
We do not store any explicit or sensitive content.
We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
All app data (progress, streaks, settings) is stored locally on your device using the device's built-in storage. If you uninstall the app, this data will be deleted. We do not maintain any server-side database of user information.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not have access to your payment details (credit card number, billing address, etc.). Subscription management, including cancellation, is handled through your Google Play Store settings.
We use RevenueCat as a subscription management platform. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase data to verify your subscription status. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
The Redpill may send local push notifications (such as daily check-in reminders) if you enable them. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device and do not involve any external server communication. You can disable notifications at any time through the app's settings or your device settings.
The Redpill is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has used our app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the app. No additional steps or requests are needed — there is no server-side data to delete.
The Redpill uses the following third-party services:
Google Play Billing: For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
RevenueCat: For managing subscription status using anonymous identifiers.
These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
