Lucille Ball set the gold standard for physical comedy and character comedy playing opposite real-life husband and band leader Desi Arnaz in a sitcom that revolved around only four characters: Ricky Ricardo (Arnaz), his wife Lucy, and their neighbors, Fred and Ethel Mertz (William Frawley and Vivian Vance). That is, two housewives prone to get into trouble, one fuddy-duddy who wore his pants up to his chin, and a Latin lover whose love for Lucy was sorely tested in just about every episode.

Billboard described "Loud Krazy Love" as "part rock doc, part faith testimonial, part family drama." It's a fearless coming-of-age story that grapples with faith, teen depression, the quest for identity and the hope of a father willing to do anything for the one he loves. The film explores the relationship between the Welches and how Jennea saved Brian's life, as he walked away from a $23 million record deal and overcame a crippling addiction to drugs to focus on becoming a good father.

"This film has resonated with so many different people because while Brian and Jennea have unconventional life circumstances as a rock 'n' roll family, the issues they faced are those with which all can relate," said John Humphrey, vice-president of I Am Second and producer of "Loud Krazy Love".

In addition to chronicling Brian and Jennea's journey, "Loud Krazy Love" also gives exclusive access of Brian on tour and at home, in-depth interviews with him, his family and his bandmates, and two decades worth of never-before-seen material from Brian and his multi-platinum-selling band KORN.

To Sir With Love II (1995) Sidney Poitier returns as teacher Mark Thackeray in this sequel to the 1967 classic. This time round Thackeray has swapped the streets of London for those of down-town Chicago, faced with the challenge of convincing hardened gang members that there is an alternative to street violence. As he struggles to instill respect and understanding in his students, he also pursues his first love; a woman he knew thirty years ago when he was a young man in Guyana.

Little information was offered about Lucy's past. A few episodes mentioned that she was born in Jamestown, New York (Ball's real-life home town), later specified to be West Jamestown, that she graduated from Jamestown High School, that her maiden name was "McGillicuddy" (indicating a Scottish or Irish ethnicity, at least on her father's side, though she once mentioned her grandmother was Swedish), and that she met Ricky on a cruise with her friend from an agency she once worked for. Her family was absent, other than occasional appearances by her scatter-brained mother Mrs. McGillicuddy (Kathryn Card), who could never get Ricky's name right. Lucy was also secretive about her age and true hair color, and tended to be careless with money, in addition to being somewhat materialistic, insisting on buying new dresses and hats for every occasion and telling old friends that she and Ricky were wealthy. She was also depicted as a devoted housewife, adept cook, and attentive mother. As part of Lucy's role was to care for her husband, she stayed at home and took care of the household chores, while her husband Ricky went to work.[12] During the post war era, Lucy took jobs outside of the home, but in these jobs, the show portrayed her as being inept outside of her usual domestic duties.[13]

Lucy's husband, Ricky Ricardo, is an up-and-coming Cuban American singer and bandleader with an excitable personality. His patience is frequently tested by his wife's antics trying to get into showbiz, along with her exorbitant spending on clothes and furniture. When exasperated, he often reverts to speaking rapidly in Spanish. As with Lucy, not much is revealed about his past or family. Ricky's mother (played by actress Mary Emery) appears in two episodes; in another, Lucy mentions that he has five brothers. Ricky also mentions that he had been "practically raised" by his Uncle Alberto (who was seen during a family visit to Cuba), and that he had attended the University of Havana.

Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Mobile Suit Gundam UC, Rurouni Kenshin, Getbackers, 2019 Dororo) directed the anime at Wit Studio and CloverWorks. Kazuaki Shimada (The Promised Neverland) designed the characters, and [K]NoW_NAME (Fairy gone, Dorohedoro, Sakura Quest) was the music producer. Viz Media is publishing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

The very first full-length animated film about the eccentric and unconventional family, The Addams Family home release, showcases the wonderfully weird world of the Addams family with a variety of exclusive bonus features not seen in theaters including deleted and extended scenes, an interactive charades game with Thing, behind-the-scenes footage, music lyric videos and more!

Filled with wildly funny moments and a fresh take on the beloved characters created by Charles Addams, The Addams Family celebrates the uniqueness of every family and delivers spooky fun all year long.

In Addams Family Values, it's love at first fright when Gomez (Raul Julia) and Morticia (Anjelica Huston) welcome a new addition to the Addams household -- Pubert, their soft, cuddly, mustachioed baby boy. As Fester (Christopher Lloyd) falls hard for voluptuous nanny Debbie Jilinksy (Joan Cusack), Wednesday (Christina Ricci) and Pugsley (Jimmy Workman) discover she's a black-widow murderess who plans to add Fester to her collection of dead husbands.

Barnabas hopes to return his family to their previous glories, but standing in the way is Angelique Bouchard (Green), the same witch who cursed him back in yonder days. As the Collins try to regain power, they fight with Angelique every step of the way.

A sweet yet anti-romantic comedy sharing some of the quirky sensibilities of The Royal Tenenbaums, Punch-Drunk Love marks a major creative step for both writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson and star Adam Sandler. The story centers on regular schlub Barry Egan (Sandler), who is so beaten down by life and his seven sisters that he is prone to obscene fits of rage. When Barry finds himself in a budding relationship with the more normal Lena (Emily Watson), the movie mulls the question of whether or not his personality disorder will jeopardize their love. Punch-Drunk's brilliance doesn't come from its plot, though, as evidenced by meandering subplots involving extortion, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and a whole lot of pudding. Rather, what makes this surprising film such a dizzy ride is its unremittingly warped sense of humor and Anderson's masterful use of Sandler. Unlike Happy Gilmore getting a laugh for beating up Bob Barker, here Barry, while on a date, gets booted from a restaurant because he chooses to vent his frustration on the establishment's restroom. What used to be funny for Sandler is suddenly tragic. Still, as he opens up to Watson and tries to get "better," we see that Barry is a much deeper, more emotional character than any Sandler has played before. Does that make for a big laugh or a romantic tear-jerker? The film's absurd romantic theme song -- Shelly Duvall warbling as Olive Oyl from the soundtrack of Robert Altman's Popeye (1980) -- might indicate that it's supposed to be a bit of both.

While Punch-Drunk Love is aggressively idiosyncratic, it most certainly fits thematically with Paul Thomas Anderson's other works. Hard Eight is about a man creating a new family in order to overcome the guilt he feels for destroying his own; Boogie Nights is about creating a new family to escape the dysfunction of one's biological family; and Magnolia is about confronting and making peace with family members. Punch-Drunk is about a man so emotionally henpecked by his seven sisters that only the love of a woman can get him to break through the layers of defensiveness he has constructed around his inner self. Adam Sandler is superb as Barry Egan. Anderson has successfully integrated the violent subtext of Sandler's comedic persona and transformed that element of his personality from something that gets laughs into something that engenders sympathy and communicates deep psychological issues. Anderson's precise framings as well as his superb feel for sound and music are on display throughout the film. The style and substance of the film meld superbly throughout, but never more so than during the extended shot involving Barry talking to a phone sex operator. The single take communicates his lonesome existence by revealing the sparsely decorated rooms, while Sandler's performance in the scene expresses his desire to change as well as the difficulty he faces in his attempts to make those changes. The whole film is tight, controlled, and utterly charming. Disquietingly odd and richly emotional, Punch-Drunk Love continues to show why Paul Thomas Anderson may be the most interesting filmmaker of his generation.

The other physical formats for this 40th anniversary celebration are a half-speed mastered vinyl edition (mastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road) and the aforementioned 4LP + blu-ray vinyl box set which includes the half-speed master and three other vinyl records which feature demos, remixes and The Lexicon of Love performed Live at Hammersmith in 1982 (previously issued on CD).
