Red Hook Mutual Aid is an independent corps of local volunteers.

Established during the COVID-19 crisis, we're here to help connect community members to resources, information, and supplies.

We offer phone support through a call-back system in five languages.

(English, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, and Russian).

We can be reached at
646-484-9677
Our volunteers can route you to appropriate resources, including delivery of groceries, PPE, laundry, childcare, job opportunities, information about unemployment benefits and more.

Get Involved: Buddy System
Are you interested in partnering with someone in the community to make sure they have everything they need and advocate for them when necessary?

As the pandemic draws to a close, we are transitioning over to a neighborhood buddy system that pairs each household in our network with an RHMA volunteer.

This is an integration effort with a focus on relationship building, as opposed to charity.  Odds are you will be paired with an elderly person who may need help in physical ways, such as groceries, and digital ways, such as requesting an absentee ballot in the June primary.  RHMA is here to support with resources, referrals, and funding when needed!

If you would like to be involved in this initiative,
please fill this form and we'll get back to you ASAP
