Release dates were drawn from announcements on comp.os.linux.announce. Version names are chosen as to be cognitively related to the prior release, yet not related in the same way as the release before that.[16][17]

And please tell your employees to stop patronizing me, saying I should just use CentOS Stream. There's a reason Rocky and Alma linux have been downloaded millions of times. Stream is not a substitute for CentOS.

I am searching for a command line browser, to use in a terminal on a system without GUI. I know of several in other linux distributions (lynx, elinks, links) but a 'dnf search' didn't yield anything useful. I would like to use a packaged solution, without having to resort to building from source. Does anybody have any suggestions?

There's a couple of parts to this, firstly you need to be able to connect into the RHEL EC2 instance using your key in order to change the config to allow password access. Your error sounds very much like this problem here, for which the accepted answer is to update the SSH client -official-almalinux-os-9-x86-64-ami-server-refused-our-key

I believe you can follow the same guide, (take backup of catalog certs, etc).as this is a pure OS level not Netbackup .the only thing I found in compatibility check is _US/article.100045645, which needs to be installed on redhat OS 8 and above.

after the upgrade, you can run the netbackup 9.1 ISO just to confirm the perquisites checks are all fine.

I believe everything should work smooth for you but you can always open a ticket with Netbackup support just in case you faced an issue and you are not able to troubleshoot it.

Do you know of any Veritas Netbackup documents that reference a linux in place OS upgrade. I seem to only find docs pertaining to windows in place upgrades. Would like to know if there is anything special we need to do beside running a full level catalog and stopping services etc..

To install Red Hat Enterprise Linux on your own machine, go to -hat-enterprise-linux/evaluation. You can also create RHEL virtual machines in Azure. See Create and Manage Linux VMs with the Azure CLI, and use --image RHEL in the call to az vm create. 0852c4b9a8
