The project WEIWER is nominated for the WSIS PRIZES 2022 awards, promoted by the World Summit on the Information Society Forum (WSIS), an annual conference in Geneva, Switzerland, organized by the United Nations, the ITU , UNESCO, UNCTAD and UNDP.

WSIS PRIZES is an international competition aimed at identifying projects that are good practices and that can be broaden to other countries.

HOW TO VOTE IN THE WSIS PRIZES 2020

In order to vote, it is necessary to make a brief preliminary registration, as follows:

(i) Go to https://www.itu.int/net4/wsis/stocktaking/Prizes/2022

(ii) Click on the "Register as a new user" button, and follow the instructions;

(iii) After logging in you will be directed to the voting page (https://www.itu.int/net4/wsis/stocktaking/Prizes/2022/Vote#start), where you should click on "Voting Form" (or look for the VOTE button).

Voting:

The WEIWER project is in Category 14 (AL C7. E-science), but first you will have to vote for the previous categories as follows:

  1. Once identified you will automatically see "Category 1";

  2. Choose a project to vote for (any one) and vote by clicking on "Vote For This Project".

  3. Repeat this step up to category 13;

  4. When you reach Category 14, look for our project: "Wikis, Education & Research within the School Libraries". Click on "Vote For This Project" button;

  5. Then continue voting for the rest of the projects until you reach Category 18;

  6. When you reach the end of the voting, the message "Completed Votes (18 Votes)" will be displayed. You have successfully completed your vote;

  7. When the voting ends, the message "Voting Complete" will be displayed accompanied by the summary of your vote in the 18 categories.
