This Privacy Policy describes how RedCutAi, developed by Sanjay Tech, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our mobile application RedCutAi.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect several types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our service to you.
Personal DataWhen you sign up or authenticate within the App using Google Sign-In or Firebase Authentication, we may collect your email address to contact you, manage your account, or provide premium access features. We also collect your display name and profile picture from your Google Account to personalize your in-app profile.
Device and Usage DataWhen you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically. This includes device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, network information, Google Advertising ID to serve advertisements, and crash logs or system performance metrics to debug and improve App stability.
Media Files and Local Storage PermissionsRedCutAi is an AI Video Editor. To perform video editing, background removal, and asset rendering, the App requires read and write permissions for your device storage to open, edit, and save video, image, and audio files. All media files edited inside the App are processed locally on your device using local AI models and FFmpeg. We do not upload your raw media files to our servers unless you explicitly save or sync them using our Cloud Features.
2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WE USE
The App integrates third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. The third-party service providers used by the App are Google Play Services, Google AdMob to show ads within the App, and Firebase for user accounts, sync, and cloud storage.
3. HOW WE USE THE COLLECTED INFORMATION
We use the collected data to provide and maintain the service including managing your account and facilitating video editing features. We use AdMob to serve advertisements within the App. We use crash reports and feedback to improve the App, fix bugs, and optimize rendering speeds. We also use your email address sanjaytech9900@gmail.com to communicate with you for product updates, support, or billing.
4. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION POLICY
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide you with the services. In compliance with Google Play Store policies, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time. You can request deletion directly through the settings panel in the App. Alternatively, you can email us at sanjaytech9900@gmail.com with the subject Data Deletion Request and we will purge your account and synced data from Firebase within 7 business days.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
6. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the Effective Date at the top of this policy.
