If you want a complete four-piece kit tailored for Toyota, Subaru, and Mitsubishi vehicles with transparent wiring and copper cores, choose RED WOLF Car Door Speaker; if you need a single, rugged black adapter designed specifically for Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, or Mazda models with water-resistant durability, choose Fiknonk 1.
• RED WOLF Car Door Speaker: Its biggest strength is the comprehensive four-piece set built with professional copper cores and transparent tubing for a clean look; its trade-off is a very specific fitment list that excludes certain model years of Sienna, Tacoma, and Tundra. This pick is for owners of Toyotas, Subarus, and Mitsubishis who want a full front-door upgrade without cutting wires.
• Fiknonk 1: Its biggest strength is its durable ABS plastic construction and water-resistant design engineered for high-reliability environments; its trade-off is that it is sold as a single unit rather than a multi-piece kit. This pick is for drivers of Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, or Mazda vehicles looking for a direct OEM replacement part that handles moisture well.
The RED WOLF harness is clearly designed for the enthusiast who values both function and aesthetics in their car audio upgrade. It comes as a set of four pieces, meaning you can replace the connectors for all your door speakers simultaneously. The manufacturer specifies a professional copper core for the wiring, which suggests a focus on conductivity and longevity over time. What really stands out, however, is the use of transparent pipe for the wire housing. In my view, this isn't just a cosmetic choice; it allows you to visually inspect the connection points later if needed, ensuring that the seal remains intact and the internal metal hasn't corroded.
This product targets a specific demographic of vehicle owners: those driving models like the Toyota Camry, RAV4, 4Runner, or various Subaru WRX and Outback models between 2000 and 2019. However, there are notable exclusions. If you own a 2006–2015 Sienna or a 2012–2018 Prius, this kit will not work for the front doors. Similarly, while it fits the front doors of 2005–2019 Tacomas, it does not cover the rear. You must verify your exact model year against the provided list because the "Plug and Play" promise only holds true if the connector pins match exactly.
Who should skip this? Drivers of Ford, Chevy, or Mazda vehicles will find this product completely irrelevant, regardless of how much they love the brand. Furthermore, if you are looking for a single spare part rather than a full refresh of all door connections, buying a four-pack might feel like overkill unless you plan to do the entire car at once. If your car falls outside the Toyota/Subaru/Mitsubishi ecosystem, you need to look elsewhere.

The Fiknonk 1 takes a different approach by focusing on singular utility and environmental resilience. It is marketed as a one-piece solution, designed to bridge the gap between factory wiring and aftermarket speakers without any modification. The standout feature here is the material choice: high-quality ABS plastic combined with a water-resistant construction. For many drivers, especially those living in regions with heavy rain, snow, or road salt, this protection is critical. Moisture is the enemy of electrical connections, and building a harness that explicitly resists water suggests a design philosophy centered on long-term reliability in harsh conditions.
This product is the go-to choice for owners of Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, and Mazda vehicles. It serves as a direct replacement for the OEM part number 72-5600, ensuring that the electrical signal transmission remains consistent with factory standards. The color is black, which helps it blend seamlessly into most interior door panels where visibility is minimal. Unlike the RED WOLF option, which offers a visual inspection point via clear tubing, the Fiknonk 1 prioritizes a robust, sealed environment. It is an essential accessory for anyone planning to swap out speakers in a Ford Focus or similar model, removing the fear of damaging the original harness during installation.
Who should avoid this? If you drive a Toyota Camry or a Subaru Forester, this adapter simply will not fit. The compatibility is tightly bound to the Ford/Mazda platform. Additionally, since it is sold as a single unit (1 PC), it is less suitable if you are trying to upgrade multiple doors across the car simultaneously unless you buy four separate units. While the packaging implies a straightforward installation, the lack of a multi-pack means you have to source more individually if your project requires more than one connector. It is a specialized tool for a specific make, offering durability over versatility.
• Best for full-car upgrades → RED WOLF Car Door Speaker (comes as a 4-piece kit for simultaneous installation).
• Best for moisture resistance → Fiknonk 1 (explicitly features water-resistant ABS plastic construction).
• Best for visual inspection → RED WOLF Car Door Speaker (transparent pipe allows you to see the copper core inside).
• Best for Ford/Mazda owners → Fiknonk 1 (designed specifically for Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, and Mazda models).
• Best for Toyota/Subaru/Mitsubishi owners → RED WOLF Car Door Speaker (covers a massive range of these brands' model years).
• Best for OEM part matching → Fiknonk 1 (engineered to replace part number 72-5600 directly).
• Best for city driving → RED WOLF Car Door Speaker (the four-piece kit ensures every door speaker in your daily commuter gets a fresh, clean connection without splicing).
In my opinion, I would choose the RED WOLF Car Door Speaker for a typical city driving scenario. The ability to replace all four door connectors at once with a kit that includes transparent, copper-core wiring gives me peace of mind regarding both performance and ease of maintenance. The fact that it avoids cutting or splicing OEM wires is a massive plus for preserving the integrity of the factory harness. While the Fiknonk 1 is undeniably tough with its water-resistant build, its limitation to a single unit and specific Ford/Mazda lineup makes it too niche for a general recommendation. Unless you drive a Ford Focus, the RED WOLF offers a more complete solution for the modern car audio enthusiast who wants a reliable, plug-and-play upgrade.
No, the RED WOLF harness is designed for direct plug-and-play installation without cutting or splicing any OEM wiring, allowing you to simply connect it between the factory harness and new speakers.
The Fiknonk 1 features a water-resistant construction made from durable ABS plastic, which is designed to perform reliably in various vehicle environments and protect against moisture exposure.
No, the RED WOLF Car Door Speaker is exclusively compatible with Toyota, Scion, Subaru, and Mitsubishi models listed in the specifications and will not fit Ford or Mazda vehicles.
Since these are precision replacements for specific OEM part numbers and connector types, using the wrong harness will result in a physical mismatch or poor electrical contact, so always double-check your vehicle's year and make against the compatibility lists before purchasing.
