Although our ancestors may be from the same continent, we are not a monolith. We each have our own stories of how we came to be here in this place, and that is reflected in our art; be it introspective painting, kawaii stickers, minimalist photography, and the other varied things we do.

AltBar is a welcoming community business who is hosting our exhibition, serving tasty non-alcoholic beverages!
The curator and gallerist are volunteering their time to bring art from a broad range of local artists to the community.
There is no commission on sales during this exhibition. Artists get 100%! Show your support!
From the Curator:
"As an interdisciplinary artist that is a descendant of ethnic Chinese from Myanmar, I know that I don't necessarily produce the type of work that fits the stereotype of what an "Asian-American" artist does. With this exhibition, I want to acknowledge the broad spectrum of Asian American and Pacific Islander artists, shedding light on how diverse the artists and their work can be. I hope this will be one exhibition of many to come."
