In the world of artistic science, Red, Yellow, and Blue are the three primary colors. But in terms of computer science, the primary colors are Red, Green, and Blue. Every pixel you can see on your device right now is actually not as colorful as you may think. If you look really closely, every pixel is actually just a set of three lights: A red one, a green one, and a blue one. When you set the brightness of these lights to different but specific values, you can interesting color combinations. You can read about the specific combinations here at our combos page.
The purpose of this website is to have people learn about these different colors, and the sciences of how pixels work and to simplify it down to the size of the very pixels using the colors in our name.
To view a whole list of our pages, go to our directory page. We wish you well on our journey using our website, and hope that you stay long enough for you to have a full, realized experience, again, on our website that is probably just some stupid joke. Gen-Z humor is insane nowadays, y'know? /red-green-blue/infrared
A fun way to learn about how RGB colors work in pixels is to watch a video that cycles through rainbow colors (the one below is a perfect example!). Stare closely at the screen – can you see the tiny squares of red, green, and blue flickering to life, combining to create the smooth rainbow effect? This is the magic of RGB! Each pixel is a tiny light, and by adjusting the intensity of the red, green, and blue components, we can create millions of different colors.
