Effective date: September 29, 2026
Last updated: September 29, 2026
Recover Fast : Junk Cleaner (the "App", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how that information is used and stored, when information may be shared, and the choices available to you.
Please read this Privacy Policy before using the App. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Access and Process
1.1 Files and media on your device
With your permission, the App may access files and media stored on your device, including photos, videos, audio files, documents, downloads, hidden files, cache files, and files located in trash or application media folders.
This access is used to:
scan for files that may be recoverable;
preview and select files;
copy selected files to a recovery destination;
identify screenshots, duplicate or similar files, and junk files;
display storage usage information; and
delete files only after you initiate and confirm the relevant action.
File scanning and recovery are performed on your device. The App does not upload the contents of scanned or recovered files to our servers.
1.2 Contacts
If you use the contact backup or contact recovery features and grant contacts permission, the App may read contact information such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, organizations, and related contact fields. The App may also write contacts when you choose to restore them.
Contact backups are stored locally on your device. The App does not upload your contacts to our servers.
1.3 Notifications
The notification management and recovery feature is optional. It operates only after you enable the feature, grant Android notification access, and select the applications you want the App to monitor.
For selected applications, the App may process and store information exposed by Android notifications, including:
the source application's package name and app name;
notification title and message content;
notification time and identifier; and
notification media or attachments when Android makes them available.
Notification records and attachments are stored locally on your device. The default retention period is 30 days, after which expired records may be deleted automatically. You may also delete saved notification records from within the App. If an application or Android hides notification content, the App cannot recover content that was never made available to it.
If you enable notification blocking for a selected application, the App may dismiss matching notifications from the Android notification panel according to your settings.
1.4 App settings and local activity data
The App stores settings and operational information locally, such as onboarding status, selected language, permission and feature choices, selected scan folder, scan summaries, recovery history, notification preferences, and whether optional reminders are enabled. This information supports the App's functions and is not used to build an advertising profile.
1.5 Feedback you submit
If you choose to send feedback, we may receive the feedback categories and text you submit. The feedback service and network infrastructure may also process ordinary technical information needed to deliver the request, such as IP address, request time, and basic connection information.
Do not include passwords, financial information, private file contents, or other sensitive personal information in your feedback.
1.6 Information we do not intentionally collect
The App does not require an account. We do not intentionally collect your precise location, passwords, payment card details, or the contents of your files and contacts for remote storage. We do not sell personal information.
2. Permissions and Why We Request Them
Depending on your Android version and the features you choose, the App may request:
Photos, videos, audio, storage, or all-files access: to scan, preview, recover, organize, and delete files selected by you.
Contacts access: to display, back up, and restore contacts at your request.
Notification access: to save and manage notifications from applications selected by you.
Post notifications: to show optional recovery reminders and user-visible status notifications.
Network access: to open the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, submit feedback, and support Google Play security services when enabled.
Boot completion: used by Android WorkManager to restore an optional reminder schedule that you previously enabled.
You can deny or revoke permissions in Android system settings. Some features may not work without the permissions they require.
3. How We Use Information
We process information only as needed to:
provide the features you request;
remember your settings;
maintain local scan, recovery, contact, and notification records;
send reminders you have enabled;
respond to feedback and support requests;
maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures; and
comply with applicable law.
4. Local Storage and Retention
Most information processed by the App remains on your device. Local data may remain until you delete it through the App, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Recovered files written to shared storage may remain after the App is uninstalled and must be deleted through the App or another file manager.
Saved notification history is normally retained for up to 30 days. Feedback sent to us may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to review the request, resolve the issue, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
Android backup for the App is disabled. However, your device manufacturer, operating system, or services you independently use may handle device data under their own terms.
5. Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers: information you deliberately send, such as feedback, may be processed by hosting or network providers solely to operate that service.
Google Play services: Google Play may process app, device, account, and integrity signals when distributing the App or when Play Integrity protection is enabled. Google's processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information when reasonably required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect users, the public, our rights, or the security of the App.
Business changes: if the App or its operations are transferred, relevant information may be transferred subject to appropriate safeguards and this Privacy Policy.
The App may open external pages, including policy or service pages, in a browser. Those sites process information under their own privacy policies.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by the App. Local databases, private files, and application preferences use Android application storage protections. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and reviewing files, contacts, and notifications before sharing the device with others.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information.
You can exercise many choices directly by:
turning optional features off in the App;
changing permissions or notification access in Android settings;
deleting saved records in the App;
clearing the App's storage; or
uninstalling the App.
For questions or requests concerning information submitted to us, contact us at the email address below. We may need enough information to understand and verify your request.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
9. International Processing
If you submit feedback or contact us, information may be processed in a country other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or our practices. We will update the "Last updated" date and, when appropriate, provide notice in the App or through the store listing. Your continued use of the App after an update means the revised policy applies to your subsequent use.
