Holiday To National Monument (Monas)

On December 27, 2024, during the first semester vacation, my friends and I visited the national monument (Monas) in central Jakarta. We went by using the Transjakarta bus.

Arriving at Monas, we immediately looked for lunch because it was already lunchtime. After lunch, we walked around Monas and queued to buy tickets to enter Monas and to the top of Monas. We got the last session ticket at half past 5pm to visit the top of Monas. While waiting, we walked to the 'Lapangan Banteng' first, enjoying the beauty of Jakarta. When the clock struck 3pm, we returned to Monas and managed to get inside. Inside the monument, there are miniatures that tell the history of Indonesia. After that we visited the top of the monument. There, we can see the beauty of Jakarta through binoculars that have been provided.

After we visited the top of Monas, we went straight home using Transjakarta buses and jaklingko. We had a great time there. We also learnt about the history of Indonesia. At the top of Monas we really enjoyed the beauty of Jakarta, we could also see the tall buildings. The holiday was fun but also tiring. The tiring part was that we had to wait for the bus and the traffic jam. But we enjoyed it by telling each other stories. That holiday was a great experience.
