GLOBAL OCCOULT  COALITION

Overview: The Global Occult Coalition is an international paramilitary and diplomatic organization formed after WWII to identify, contain, or eliminate anomalous threats that endanger global stability. Unlike the Foundation, the GOC prioritizes destruction of anomalies over long‑term containment, often leading to ideological friction during joint operations.

SARKTIC CULT

Status: Hostile–Unpredictable

Overview: Nälkä , or Sarkicism to outsiders, is an ancient anomalous religious-philosophical cult that worships the flesh according to the teachings of Grand Karcist Ion, its creator and deity. He absorbed the power of Važjuma to increase his own ontokinetic and thaumaturgic abilities. Their main adversary is the Church of the Broken God, which profoundly opposes Sarkicism through its worship of the Broken God Mekhane.

Sarkicism adherents are divided into two sects: Neo-Sarkicism and Proto-Sarkicism. Neo-Sarkic cults are libertine and include members of high society, using complex rituals and sophisticated technology; Proto-Sarkic cults are more rural and isolated, using primitive rites and crude technology.

SERPENT’S HAND

Status: Hostile Ideological Opponent

Overview: The Serpent's Hand is an anomalous resistance movement that seeks to break the Veil and reveal the existence of the anomalous so that humanity can utilize it to better themselves. They directly oppose the Global Occult Coalition and the SCP Foundation, though have been known to work with both in the face of greater threats. Their headquarters is the Crossroads-class Nexus Wanderer's Library.

PROMETHEUS LABS

Status: Defunct, Neutral

Overview: Prometheus Labs was a technologically advanced research corporation specializing in anomalous engineering, cybernetics, energy systems, and experimental weaponry. Prior to its collapse, the organization operated numerous black‑budget projects that frequently intersected with Foundation interests. Many of their inventions remain in circulation, often unstable or poorly understood, posing ongoing containment challenges.

After an incident in 1998, Prometheus Labs' projects were seized by the SCP Foundation and the corporation splintered into hundreds of smaller companies.

CIVILIAN PERSONS OF INTEREST
Status: Neutral - Hostile  

Overview: Civilian Persons of Interest (C‑POIs) are non‑anomalous individuals who knowingly or recklessly endanger global secrecy protocols. These civilians operate outside any recognized GOI but pose significant risk through independent investigations, exposure events, digital leaks, or attempts to infiltrate the Veil for personal, ideological, or financial gain. Their actions frequently intersect with GOI activity, making them unpredictable and difficult to contain. 

FIFTHIST CHURCH

Overview: The Fifthist Church, commonly referred to as Fifthism, is a metaphysically unstable religious movement centered around recursive theology, anti‑linear thought, and the worship of “The Escapee.” Fifthist doctrine rejects conventional reality structures, promoting beliefs that destabilize perception, identity, and causality. Their sermons and rituals frequently induce dissociation, breakdown in exposed individuals. The group’s decentralized nature makes them difficult to track, as sects manifest spontaneously around charismatic “Fifth‑speakers.”
