As a disability activist LeeAnn is committed to representing the diversity of the disabled experience beyond the stereotypical imaginings. She is interested in emancipatory research that centres disabled people as producers of knowledge. Her current project blends theory and narrative to explore liminality and body schema; A lifewriting project inspired by disability as a valued aspect of identity.
