Recognote ("the app," "we," "us") is a personal, offline memory aid that helps you remember the names and faces of people you meet. This policy explains what data the app handles and how your privacy is protected.
We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. Everything you add — photos, names, readings, birthdays, affiliations, tags, and notes — is stored only on your device.
No account. No cloud. No sign-in. The app works fully offline.
No ads. No tracking. No analytics SDKs.
The app offers an optional one-time purchase (Recognote Pro). Payment is handled entirely by the App Store / Google Play — we never see or receive your payment details. This is described below.
Photos, names, and other details you enter are saved in a local database and a private folder on your device. They are never uploaded to us or any server. We have no ability to see, access, or recover this information.
Camera & Photos: The app requests camera and photo-library access only so you can attach a picture to a person you add. Images you choose are copied into the app's local storage and stay on your device.
Backup & restore: You can export your data to a single file and import it later. This file is created and shared by you, using your device's own sharing features (for example, saving to Files or sending it to yourself). We never receive it.
Deletion: You can delete any person, folder, or all data at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
The free version lets you add a limited number of people and folders. You can optionally make a one-time purchase to unlock unlimited use. There is no subscription and no advertising.
Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your payment information is handled by Apple/Google under their own terms and privacy policies — we never receive or store it.
To restore a previous purchase (for example after reinstalling or on a new device), the app asks the store for your purchase history. This confirms your entitlement only; no personal data is sent to us.

Recognote is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can remove your data at any time by deleting it in the app or uninstalling the app.
The optional Pro purchase is never required to keep your existing data safe on your device.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.

カメラ・写真: 人物に写真を添付するためだけに、カメラと写真ライブラリへのアクセスを求めます。選択した画像はアプリのローカル領域にコピーされ、端末内に留まります。
バックアップ・復元: データを1つのファイルに書き出し、後で読み込めます。このファイルは端末の共有機能を使って利用者自身が作成・共有するもので、私たちが受け取ることはありません。
削除: アプリ内でいつでも人物・フォルダ・全データを削除できます。アプリをアンインストールすると、端末内の全データが削除されます。
無料版では人物・フォルダの追加数に上限があります。任意の買い切りで上限を解除し、無制限に使えます。サブスクリプションや広告はありません。
購入はApple App StoreまたはGoogle Playが処理します。決済情報はApple/Googleが各社の規約・プライバシーポリシーに基づいて取り扱い、私たちが受け取ったり保存したりすることはありません。
過去の購入を復元する場合（再インストール時や機種変更時など）、アプリはストアに購入履歴を照会します。これは購入の有無を確認するためだけで、私たちに個人データが送られることはありません。

本アプリは13歳未満（またはお住まいの地域の相当年齢未満）の子どもを対象としていません。子どもの個人情報を故意に収集することはありません。
アプリ内で削除するか、アプリをアンインストールすることで、いつでもデータを削除できます。
任意のPro購入は、端末内の既存データを保持するために必須ではありません。
アプリの進化に合わせて本ポリシーを更新することがあります。重要な変更は施行日を更新のうえ本ページに反映します。
