Welcome to Receipt2Win ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our mobile application.
1. Data Storage & Security (Local By Default) We strongly believe that your financial data belongs to you. That is why Receipt2Win is designed as an offline-first application.
All your scanned receipts, manual entries, and expense reports are stored locally on your device.
We do not have access to your financial data, nor do we store it on any of our external servers.
If you use our Pro "Secure Backup" feature, your data is encrypted and saved to your personal cloud storage (e.g., iCloud/Google Drive). We cannot read your encrypted backups.
2. Camera and Photo Library Access To provide our core functionality (AI Receipt Scanning), our app requires access to your device's Camera and Photo Library.
Images captured or imported are processed locally on your device using on-device Machine Learning (OCR) to extract text.
We do not upload, share, or store your photos on any external servers.
3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions We offer premium features through In-App Purchases. All payments and subscriptions are handled securely by Apple via your Apple ID account. We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card information or billing details. We only receive an anonymous token to verify your purchase and unlock Pro features.
4. Third-Party Services While we do not collect personal data, the app may use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you strictly for functional purposes (such as Apple for payments or on-device ML kits for text recognition).
5. Data Retention and Deletion Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete individual receipts or use the "Delete All Data" option in the app's settings to permanently erase all records. Uninstalling the app will also remove all local data associated with it.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
