This Privacy Policy documents the data handling practices of Recall Deck: Flashcard Study ("the Application"), developed, published, and maintained by Soft Trump Software Solutions. The Application is built as a local-first, standalone educational utility. We enforce a strict "Privacy-by-Design" infrastructure: no flashcards, custom decks, study questions, answers, mastery scores, or device-specific parameters are tracked, logged, or transmitted to any external servers or remote cloud systems.

2. Complete Local-First Data Storage

• Study Data Persistence: All user-generated content, including deck configurations, preset color tags, question/answer strings, and card metrics (CardStatus), is processed and saved entirely on your local device's internal sandbox storage. The Application utilizes the @react-native-async-storage/async-storage database engine under the specific local workspace keys minddeck:v1:decks and minddeck:v1:activeDeckId.

• No User Profiles: The Application functions entirely without user account creation, email registration, or social media authentication. We do not collect, request, or monitor Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or personal identifiers.

• Session Evaluation: All active recall gesture checks (swiping right to master, swiping left to review later) run in temporary active memory (RAM) and write directly to local file persistence. We have zero access to your custom study materials.

3. Native System & Hardware Permissions

To deliver a high-fidelity and tactile study interface, Recall Deck interacts with minimal, non-sensitive system layers:

• Haptic Actuators (expo-haptics): Executes localized physical vibrations to confirm user interactions, such as successful right-swipe gestures on cards.

• Local File Access: Standard operating system read/write loops required exclusively to maintain and load your flashcard libraries across application restarts.

• System UI & Safe Areas: Interacts with native layout engines to configure an edge-to-edge dark workspace that respects display cuts, camera notches, and software navigation bars.

4. Third-Party Data Exclusions

The Application code architecture intentionally contains no third-party advertising software development kits (SDKs), background analytical tracking pixels, or user behavior profiling scripts. Global application delivery metrics, downloads, and platform telemetry are managed completely by the automated, standard operational guidelines of the Google Play Console ecosystem.

5. Data Control and Deletion

You maintain absolute ownership and control over your data. You can manually delete individual cards, clear active study queues, or wipe entire flashcard decks inside the editor view. Uninstalling the Application from your device or clearing its data via Android System Settings will instantly and permanently delete all locally stored flashcards and progress metrics. We do not retain external backups or cloud mirrors of your data.

6. Children’s Privacy

Recall Deck is built to be a safe, focused environment for a general audience of students and active learners. Because the Application is entirely offline and transmits zero data over the internet, it does not knowingly or structurally collect or process personal information from children under the age of 13.
