Welcome to my webpage! The pages here describe my research. I use a number of methods including ethnography, discourse analysis, and historical research to collaborate with people in STEM fields as well as historians, philosophers, and other social scientists.
I received my Ph.D. in Communication and Science Studies at the University of California San Diego in 2019. I am currently a postdoctral scholar at UC San Diego's Teaching + Learning Commons and Biological Sciences, and sponsored by UC Irvine's Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation through several grants from the National Science Foundation.
My work is interdisciplinary and contributes to multiple fields including: science communication, science and technology studies (STS), science education, and history and philosophy of science (in practice).
