Benefitting Rearing2Read | Jan 15-April 1, 2025 

Overview:

Tests will be judged and scored. Ribbons and test sheets will be mailed out to contestants. We encourage you to use this show as a check-in towards your 2025 goals in the comfort of your own arena.

Full proceeds from this show will be given to Rearing2Read, a non-profit located in Hillsborough, NC. It follows the Horse Powered Reading® curriculum to help students find confidence and motivation to read while also filling in the gaps in the learner's reading abilities.

Specifications: 

To sign up, fill out the attached Google Form. Upload a YouTube link of your test to the Form. Film tests as close and steady to the horse and rider as possible. Feel free to zoom in as needed. Tests must be ridden in a measured arena with accurate letters. Tests can be read to riders. Turnout is informal. See Google Form for payment instructions. Tests will not be judged until payment is sent. 

Submit tests between Jan 15 and April 1. They will be judged and scores will be tracked here. We will also send you a PDF of your test and comments as soon as it is scored. The cost per test is $50. All entries are due by April 1st. All prizes will be mailed out April 15th.
