BIOGRAPHY.

☆  I’m Raelle Collar. Since I’m a witch, my fate was already decided for me centuries ago. At the age of 18, I had to go to Fort Salem. At first, I didn’t like that. I didn’t want to join the army that had taken my mother from me.
My initial plan was to simply go through the motions, get deployed as soon as possible, and follow my mother. But life has a funny way of working out. Then I met Scylla. She thought my plan sucked. That I should let the army make me stronger. And I thought she had a point. How beautiful she was didn’t hurt, either.
We ended up falling in love. Until I found out she was Spree. I questioned if her feelings for me had been genuine. But in time, I learned they had been. But I’m getting ahead of myself. When I first went to training, I was given a unit. Mine consisted of me, Abigail Bellweather, and Tally Craven. At first, I thought Abigail was too much, and Tally was too naïve.
But now? Now they’re my sisters. I love them both so much. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Again. Sorry.
At first, we needed to learn to work together if we were going to survive basic training. So work together we did. We even did a good job.
Things went well until Scylla’s ex showed up. I questioned her about it, but she wouldn’t tell me. Eventually I decided it didn’t matter. Her past was her past; what mattered was the present. And we would figure it out together.
Then came Abigail’s cousin’s wedding. We all went and Scylla showed up to surprise me. She was supposed to turn me over to the Spree but she decided not to. But Tally found out she was Spree and turned her in. I, of course, knew nothing about her being Spree at the time, and was just upset that I couldn’t find her after the chaos that the wedding turned into when the Spree (supposedly) attacked.
I was desperate to find her, so I went to the necro facility. Touched the mycelium. Talked to Izadora, who told me Scylla was dead, but I didn’t believe her. I took Abigail and Tally’s salva to head to the lighthouse that Scylla had told me about. Abigail and Tally eventually found me after I crash-landed.
Later on, Abigail asked me to heal her new friend Adil’s sister Khalida. So I did. Usually I’d take some of the illness on me, but this time I didn’t. Abigail said it’s because I was getting stronger.
I finally reunited with Scylla, who was locked up and being tortured. I wondered why. She told me not to believe what people say about her and that she loved me. Eventually, we were separated again, and I woke up in my room. I told Tally and Abigail what happened, but they both thought I was having a nightmare that just seemed real.
Then Anacostia came in to announce the start of Citydrop, a simulation of a real battle against the Spree. It is then that I find out that Scylla is one of them. I don’t want to believe it at first, especially since she told me she loved me. But eventually, I realize it’s the truth.
After Citydrop, we end up going to fight real Spree. They’re in trucks, and we use windstrikes to blow them off the road, but one of the trucks had civilian hostages in it, which General Alder lied about.
We tell Abigail’s mother, Petra Bellweather, about Alder’s lies. She is surprised, shocked even, but dismisses us. Anacostia suggests that I say goodbye to Scylla. I refuse at first, because she’s dead to me but Abigail changes my mind.So I talk to Scylla, telling her that I loved her. She insists that her feelings for me are real. That I don’t know how powerful I am. That she didn’t call the shots in the Spree. That in the end, she chose me over them. I walk away. It’s too much.
Anacostia comforts me, stating that Scylla does love me; that part is real. Soon after, basic training is completed. Abigail, Tally, and I wait to get the news that we’ve been chosen for War College but to our dismay we’ve been deployed. Alder herself stopped us from getting in, because she wanted us for a specific mission to save the Tarim.
We manage to save some, I heal a young boy from the same illness that Khalida had. But the ancient enemy of all witches, the Camarilla, returns. One of them attacks me. Abigail comes to try to save me, but we are simply stuck. Still, we survive, though we don’t know right away how.
Remember that Mycelium I touched? Yeah, it saved us. Once we return to Fort Salem, we are just in time to see Tally, who had volunteered herself to be one of Alder’s biddies, become herself again. Abigail and I are tested, to find the source of our abilities. We start War College, as well, along with Tally. And are introduced to our coven, including the leader, M. Eventually, the tests find out that the abilities are mine. So I’m asked to demonstrate them for the top brass.
There are new witches being discovered, and so the army opens testing centers to find them and bring them to Fort Salem. Abigail, Tally, and I are asked to defend the first one. Eventually, I’m taken by the Camarilla but eventually get out of that situation, luckily. Then Abigail, Tally, and I are tasked with finding Nicte Batan, the leader of the Spree. And Scylla helps us find her. We eventually kiss and make up,. I realize that I still love her.
When the Camarilla come to Fort Salem, we’re forced to make some tough choices. And Tally stops Alder from killing Nicte, as she feels for her. Of course, Abigail and I back Tally up. Then all of us and Scylla and Nicte have to go on the run due to us being accused of killing the Vice President’s daughter. Though really, she was dying already. There was nothing else we could do.
We spend some time with the Dodgers, before we have to leave. Then I get sick and am absorbed into the Mycelium to heal. I eventually get back but am warned that the world is a lot darker of a place than when I left it. I help Tally out of a sticky situation, save Scylla from the Camarilla, and we eventually decide to turn ourselves in to stop the war in the Cession, where we were staying.
Scylla and I don’t want to be apart anymore and I ask her to marry me. We have a double wedding with Abigail and Adil.
The Camarilla appear at Fort Salem again, and we have to fight them. I detonate a witchbomb while the stewards are performing the First Song, and it spreads the Mother Mycelium’s power to everyone. Now everyone is a witch, to some extent. Some are more powerful than others, of course. The Mother speaks to us through Alder and tells us that we will be known as goddesses. Alder warns us to be deserving of it before she fades away.
And now? Bring it on is all I can say. I know with my wife and sisters by my side, I can do anything.
