BIOGRAPHY.

☆ Hello, I am Kate (Sharma-) Bridgerton. I came here with my mother Mary and sister Edwina to find a match for my sister. At our first ball, we met Lord Anthony Bridgerton. Except, I had already met him while riding in a park. As I stepped outside the ball, I heard him talking to some friends about what he wanted in a wife, and love was not part of it.
Wanting my sister’s happiness above all, I became determined to keep the two of them away from each other. Of course, not used to not getting what he wants, Lord Bridgerton insisted on courting my sister. As time went on, I warmed to him, a little. Though he did still vex me a lot. And somehow the two of us ended up falling in love. But I was determined to push away those feelings, to go back to India and let my sister Edwina become his vicountess.
Until, at their wedding, I dropped a bracelet my sister had given me. Lord Bridgerton-Anthony- bent to pick it up and it was then that my sister realized we had feelings for each other. She left the wedding, heartbroken and shocked at my betrayal, at my lack of honesty with her. I did not want things to work out this way, I did not want to see my sister hurt. After Edwina decided not to marry Anthony, our families and Lady Danbury decided to host a ball together. Edwina and I went along with it, and played our parts. But nobody showed up.
Afterwards, Anthony and I….we….well…we went too far. The next day, I went for a ride and fell off my horse. Anthony found me and brought me back to Lady Danbury’s house. When I woke up, he asked me to marry him but I was determined not to agree to it.
Eventually, though, at the Featherington ball, my sister pretty much gave me her blessing, and Anthony confessed his love for me and I told him I loved him too. We are now married and I am happier than ever. I still wish for my sister to find the same happiness, yet I must be true to myself, and honest with myself and others.
