Hello! I’m Jaskier. Maybe you’ve heard of me? No? Well, I am a bard who sings of my adventures with Geralt of Rivia, the famous Witcher. Well, I made him famous. You’re welcome.
It all started when he got asked to kill a “devil.” Well, that devil could talk and he knocked me out! We were then captured by elves! Imagine that. It was terrifying.Luckily, Geralt managed to convince them somehow to let us go and I gained a newfound respect for their leader Filavandrel. Of course, I may have…embellished a bit in my songs to make them more exciting. However, that’s not important. What is important is that Geralt and I later on went to a royal betrothal in Cintra together. He was my bodyguard because I may have upset some nobles. Anyway, things took a turn and he ended up with a child surprise. Though he didn’t claim them yet as far as I know.
Then Geralt and I found a djinn. Well, he did. But I made the wishes! At least, I thought I did. Anyway, I ended up very sick and Geralt had to take me to get healed and that’s where the trouble began. Yennefer of Vengerberg. She’s a mage, a powerful mage, and scary. Really scary. She healed me and tried to trap the djinn and Geralt made a wish to save her. If you ask me, he should’ve just left her. She is crazy.
But fate it would seem had other plans. While hunting a dragon, we ran into her again. Unfortunately. The man who asked us to hunt the dragon with us died, or at least so we thought. It turned out he survived as he was a dragon himself. Amazing. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse and Geralt got really upset with me. He blamed me for all his troubles.
I began to help the Elves get to safety, calling myself the Sandpiper. One day, unexpectedly, Yennefer showed up. We actually got along this time and I felt for her since she’d lost her magic. I also feared that one day the muses would stop speaking to me. Because after all, what can one do when one can no longer do what they were put on this Continent to do?
I helped her and Cahir and some elves get aboard the ship to Cintra, and wished her good luck. Then I was taken and tortured by Rience. He wanted to know where Geralt and Ciri were. I said I didn’t know but he didn’t believe me.
Yennefer showed up pretending to be my wife. We managed to escape Rience but were later found by three men and got separated. Once I found her again, she had been taken prisoner and said an incantation about a hut and disappeared.
I was then caught and put in jail, where I spent time singing songs. Geralt eventually rescued me and though I’m still upset with him for what happened last time, I agreed to help him. I told him about Yennefer saying something about a hut and he came to the conclusion that she’s working with Voleth Meir, the Deathless Mother, who Witchers imprisoned in a hut.
We found Yennefer and Ciri being attacked by Nilfgaardian guards and Geralt saved them then instructed me to take Ciri to Kaer Morhen. Once there, I was awakened by Yennefer who wanted to remove Voleth Meir from Ciri without killing her and right her wrongs from before.
Yennefer gave me some jasper and told me to give it to Geralt, but by the time I found him, the battle against Voleth Meir had already started. Luckily, for all of us, Ciri managed to send her back to her home sphere.
