☆ Hello, my name is Benedict Bridgerton. I usually prefer to express myself through my art but I will try my best here. I was born the second son of Edmund and Violet Bridgerton.

Unfortunately, my father left the world years ago, and my older brother Anthony and my broken-hearted mother were left to take care of this huge family. I loved my father dearly and miss him every day, though I am sure it’s nothing compared to what my Mama experiences.

I, like the rest of my siblings, grew up in a house filled with love. And yes, our father’s passing hit me hard. Yet I had my art to fall back on, to escape into. And in that respect, I was lucky.

Now, however, I feel uncertain about my place in the world, after learning that my brother made a donation to the art academy I was accepted to. Do I actually have talent, or am I just succeeding because of my family name and money?

I do not know what the future holds, nor do I know what I will do in the present. I only hope that I will find some happiness. And that I will find something fulfilling to occupy my time.

And I did. I befriended a woman named Lady Tilly, who introduced me to her friend Paul. All three of us eventually began a relationship. But I suppose all good things must come to an end. Although I did enjoy our time together, and learned so much about myself through it, I am certain that I still have so much to learn. It's terrifying but also thrilling. I feel that the next thing I learn will change my life forever.
