BIOGRAPHY.

Born for Mary and Hans Edenburg, but carried by a surrogate , Mikayla lived a good chunk of her life not even knowing she was adopted by the Edenburgs. Her family was wealthy, and they tried their best to shield Mikayla from the harshness of the world. Though they did not entirely succeed, as Mikayla would always be one to help others out when they were in need. The Edenburgs had raised her well. When she found out she was adopted at the age of 18, it changed her life. But Mikayla took it in stride and didn't love her (adoptive) parents any less. 

Mikayla , driven by her need to help others and to make the world a better place, became a therapist after graduating college. She has her own issues, but prides herself on never taking them out on her clients. After graduation, she began to work for a small local practice. She did quite well for herself. Her life was absolutely normal. 

Until one day, it wasn't. She fell in love with and was eventually dumped by Alina Henderson. She took it badly. She lost loads of clients for her post-breakup flakiness.  She needed a change. She sent her resume to psychology practices in different states. Even one in Canada. She needed a fresh start somewhere else. Although she loves her family and friends dearly, she needed to start over. She waited for a reply and finally she got one. It was from the psychologists in Canada. She had to be honest, that wasn't what she had been hoping for. She had been hoping for sunny Florida or warm California. Yet she had wanted a new start. And so, she accepted the job. 

Now she's in Canada. And she's happy. She gets along with her coworkers. She has friends. And everything is right in the world again. Hopefully, it will stay that way. 

But there is something Mikayla doesn't know. She has so many family members out there. Besides the Edenburgs. She had always wanted siblings. And she has them. Because there is a secret she's unaware of. She is a clone from Project LEDA. And all the other clones are out there. If only she could find them. If only they could find each other.
