☆  Sky grew up in a relatively normal family. And because of that, they always felt a bit out of place. They had a mother and a father, and an older brother, and a younger sister. They got along well with their parents and siblings but always felt a bit out of place. At the age of 14, they realized one possible reason why. They were nonbinary. Luckily, their family took the news well. They adjusted to Sky’s new name (Sky) and pronouns. That was a relief to Sky themself, as they had been worried about how their family would take the news.

At the same time, they also came out as Queer. And their family took that in stride too. Sky graduated high school with good grades, and everyone expected them to go to college next. But Sky had never been one to care much about expectations. They told their parents that they didn’t want to go to college. And this news, their parents didn’t take very well. However, they didn’t want Sky to starve or be living on the street, so they let them stay at home. A fact for which Sky was grateful.

Sky’s parents kept hoping they would change their mind, and it led to a lot of fighting between Sky and their parents. After one particularly nasty argument, Sky had had enough. They decided to stay with a friend for a while, before getting whatever job they could and finding a place of their own. So at the age of 18, Sky left their parents and siblings behind for good. It was difficult for them, and they hoped that they would find their own chosen family. And they did. Though it did not happen the way they expected it to.

Sky took on whatever odd jobs they could find, and one night when they were walking home from work, they were attacked. It turns out they were bitten by a werewolf. Luckily for them, Jacob found them and invited them to join his pack. They accepted without a second thought. With some financial help from Jacob initially, and eventually getting a promotion at work, Sky is able to afford a place of their own. Currently, they live not that far away from Jacob and Alex, always spending time with their pack members when they’re not working. Their pack is now their family and they’re so lucky to have all of them in their life. Sky is especially close with Jacob, Alex, and Christina. They are now 20 years old, the same age as Alex, and have been a werewolf for two years. 

When Alex tells them about the revolution, they are immediately excited. Improving the lives of the bitten wolves sounds great to them, as they’ve never thought it was fair how the born wolves treated those who were bitten. They meet and befriend Victoria as well, throughout the process of the revolution. (end of v1.)

And after fighting a lot of battles, they win. And Sky is relieved. They’re surrounded by love now, with their pack as their family. And though a part of them still misses their parents and siblings, they’re glad to have their chosen family. And that includes Victoria, for sure. Sky’s life is complicated to some extent, but they wouldn’t trade it for an easier one. Their life, overall, is good. And they’re grateful.
