BIOGRAPHY.

☆   Mary Elizabeth Adams was born in the 19th century in a rather poor family. Her father was the local priest and her mother had no fortune. They had married for love, not money. Still, they wanted the best for their daughter and so they did everything they could to introduce her to society.

She made a friend,eventually. A young woman from a wealthy family who would regularly loan her dresses and invite her to balls. At a ball is where Mary met Her. An older woman who intrigued her.

She knew there was something special about her from the start. Mary knew she felt about women the way she was supposedly supposed to feel about men. Her parents were entirely unaware, though. She had never told them.

Eventually, Mary and this woman began a romantic relationship. And she eventually turned Mary into a vampire like her. Mary was glad to finally be powerful, as she had often longed to be. To have the means to get more out of her life, as she had often wanted to.

Though Mary and the other vampire’s relationship did not last long past this, Mary will always be grateful to her for turning her. Once turned, she changed her name to Aphrodite Fitzroy. A powerful and elegant name. A name that made her sound rich. (Another thing she had always wanted.)

Eventually, her parents caught on that there was something different about their daughter. So she killed them. Murdered them in cold blood and didn’t feel the slightest bit of guilt over it. She did need to feed after all. After that, she fled England and traveled all throughout Europe, amassing money and power.

Today, Aphrodite runs several businesses, including a fashion line, a media empire, and a financial services business. She also regularly invests and freelances on the side. She is extremely rich. Probably a trillionaire at this point, due to all that she’s acquired over the centuries. And she has zero guilt about it.

She regularly travels, never staying in one place for too long. Her life is much better now than when she was human. And if a few bodies lie in her wake now and then, so what? She needs to feed, after all. And she will never apologize for being who she is.

She has some friends and occasionally lovers. But mostly she goes it alone. Though she does miss her sire’s presence in her life. Their relationship ending is probably Aphrodite’s only regret. But she does her best not to dwell on it too much.

Life is long for her, but the world is wide. And she wants to experience every bit of it.
