I'm not sure if it's the same on older systems, but on ICS it appears to save directly to /data/data/com.android.settings/files/wallpaper. I set mine from the browser, pulled that file, then changed it to a .png extension and voil - it was the image I had set.

I was annoyed by the exact same problem, so I have programmed an app that automatically saves your wallpapers and your live wallpapers too. It makes it easy to revert to a previous wallpaper. It is called Wallpaper Saver, by Appdictive, and it's free in the Play Store. (It does not require root access.)

The location of the stock wallpapers is in an apk file that you should find on your device at /system/framework/framework-res.apk. Pull that file to your computer and then browse its internals. A search for a file with wallpaper in its name should prove fruitful.

Has anyone found a way to disable the new wallpaper zoom on the home screen? I'm not a huge fan of how it cuts off sections of my wallpaper. I had previously edited the wallpaper I use to fit the icons, but because it zooms in now everything is out of alignment and I can't think of an easy way to fix it without knowing exactly how much it zooms.

I downloaded a photo from facebook, and set it as the wallpaper on my phone, then decided I wanted to remove it again. The problem is, I have not yet been able to find a way to delete photos from the wallpaper and lock screen selection. I can understand that they might not want me deleting the stock ones, but it seems there is also no way to delete the ones I loaded.

Normally, it is the home launcher app which changes the wallpaper in the device, both for home screen and lock screen. For default stock home launcher in OxygenOS, the custom image wallpapers are saved inside /data/user/0/net.oneplus.launcher/files/ with prefix wallpaper.

If you want to prevent that image to reappear in wallpaper selection view, you have to edit the database inside which its entry is stored and then delete that entry. Simply removing the wallpaper file from data directory doesn't always work.

There are some apps which claim to both read and write an app's database, such as SQLite Editor. It didn't work in my case though. I have My Android Tools (Pro) (not available in Play Store anymore) and I used it to remove the entries for wallpapers from the aforesaid database. It is quite easy to use. Select the app, select the database, select the table, then row and tap on delete icon.

Under Settings > Device care > Storage > User date > Files check the wallpaper file you want to delete. At bottom of screen is the trash barrel symbol. Press it then reboot the Android device. The wallpaper file is gone.

Cussed out Samsung for not making this easy. If you have selected one or more image(s) to use as either lock screen or homepage images the solution is to move just one of the images to another location other than PICTURES then reboot. If you don't reboot the system will just complain that you have to select another image but you can't. Just reboot and that apparently clears the image list. Now it's just a matter of running the wallpaper tool, selecting the image(s) you want to use and the list is rebuilt. Pain in the wazoo but works.

2. "48 months of smooth use" means that realme 11 Pro+ has been certified as A-class smoothness bySd Lab through a combination of software, hardware and other technical optimizations; 48 months ofsmooth use is not the same as absolutely no lag, and actual experience may vary due to differentfactors such as network environment and personal usage habits.

Recently, iPhone users have been bragging that they can set Live Photos as their lock screen wallpaper. While this is a great way to spice up a boring lock screen, Android users shouldn't feel left out in the cold. The highly customizable and feature-rich OS has a few tricks up its sleeve too, and it's really easy to set any GIF as your Android's home screen and/or lock screen background.

And while we are talking about personalization, Realme UI 4.0 is flexible when it comes to this. There is an entire Style (and Wallpapers) page in Settings. You can change wallpapers (live and static), switch to different icon packs, different quick toggles icon shapes, change fonts, and choose completely different colors that will change the entire Realme UI look. Different AOD themes and fingerprint scanner animations are available, too. You can even turn on/off Edge Lighting, which is independent of the Always-On Display.

At the moment, the Realme 11 series is limited to mainland China. If you want to get a taste of the new phones, then you try out these wallpapers.
