Real VU Meter Overlay is an Android application developed by Albu Cristian.
This Privacy Policy explains how the app accesses, uses, and handles data.
1. Audio access
Real VU Meter Overlay uses Android audio capture and microphone-related permissions only to display real-time VU meter animations based on audio playing on the device or captured through Android’s audio capture system.
The app does not record, store, save, upload, transmit, or share audio content.
Audio is processed locally on the device only for real-time visual meter movement.
2. Overlay permission
The app uses Android overlay permission to display a floating bubble and a full-screen VU meter over other apps.
The overlay is used only for the visual VU meter experience.
3. Advertising
The free version of the app may display ads in the main screen, settings screen, and about/help screen.
Ads are not displayed over the floating bubble, full-screen VU meter, or meter overlay.
The app uses Google AdMob. Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share information such as IP address, user product interactions, diagnostic information, and device/account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention purposes.
4. Purchases
The app may offer a one-time Pro upgrade through Google Play Billing.
Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. The app does not collect or store payment card details.
5. Data sharing
The app developer does not sell personal data.
The app may share limited data with third-party services required for ads and billing, such as Google AdMob and Google Play Billing.
6. Data retention
The app does not store audio recordings or audio files.
Local preferences, such as selected skin, selected audio follow preset, meter settings, and Pro status, may be stored locally on the device.
7. Children
Real VU Meter Overlay is not designed for children and is intended for general users interested in music visualization and vintage hi-fi style meters.
