Prevalent in NASCAR events - but available in any event type involving a NASCAR vehicle and at least one opponent - is the ability to draft behind other opponents giving the player an extra boost in speed. Notice bots' names in events involving NASCAR vehicles are different from the common ones found in events with non-NASCAR vehicles, some of whom are the famous names from the real-life NASCAR Cup Series (e.g. "Logano", "Stewart", "Patrick", "Jones", "Wallace", "Cindric", and "Bell" to name a few).

iRacing is a platform with such a great potential. Imagine getting the chance to broadcast a NASCAR race where you have the 36 regular NASCAR drivers and Dale Earnhardt Jr. as guaranteed entries. Choose what car they will be in, and what track. Want to see Cup cars at Rockingham Speedway again? What about Trucks at North Wilkesboro Speedway? Or maybe even something really impossible in real life, like having the Cup drivers take on the legendary Nurburgring or a return to the Twin Ring Motegi oval?

Now, SRX and PIS had a very similar angle. Both were fun exhibitions that tried to have unique lineups. Now, FOX had several advantages in this category, most notable of them that the PIS was an internet series, and so anybody with a rig setup and a decent internet connection could theoretically have raced in it. Whereas SRX used real life cars that required a driver to, you know, fly out and waste a day on their schedule.

You all are below average in the brain department if you thought that the srx races were any better than any Saturday night local race. And there is absolutely no way in this world that I would watch these races over nascar. Nascar does know where they are going and what they want. Changing in mid race is so stupid. Just rich people wanting more money. And if not for Nascar people srx would have been even a bigger joke than it obviously was.

On Monday, Nov. 26, the members of Team 25 will show driver Jerry Nadeau what they really think about him when they go head-to-head on the quarter-mile go-karting track at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Who knows, somebody may run him off the road or even give him a "friendly" tap from behind.

"This is my Christmas present to the guys," Nadeau said. "We all have had a really long season and a lot of weird things have happened. The UAW-Delphi guys have worked hard all year without a break. I think they deserve a chance to take a day off and just have fun, they've sure earned it."cmgAdQueuePush( function(){ AccelerateAdManager.displayAd("ad-mpu-2-mobile"); });

Nadeau may have rented the track and go-karts for the day but the question remains: will Nadeau, a 10-time karting champion early in his racing career, be the driving instructor or will his crew members show him a thing or two?

NASCAR on Thursday completed its investigation into the garage pull rope formed as a noose that was found in Bubba Wallace's garage at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, with president Steve Phelps saying "the noose was real" and "our initial reaction was to protect our driver."

"In hindsight, we should have -- I should have -- used the word 'alleged' in our statement. ... As you can see from the photo, the noose was real, as was our concern for Bubba. With similar emotion, others across our industry and our media stood up to defend the NASCAR family -- our NASCAR family -- because they are part of the NASCAR family too. We were proud to see so many stand up for what's right."

Of course there's more to NASCAR racing that just driving in a circle (and 'rubbin'). You'll be able to pick a team to race for, and even team-up with famous racers likeDale Earnhardt Jr. andJeff Gordon - on the Richmond International Raceway, no less. The racing itself also includes important NASCAR techniques such as drafting and slingshot passing. And, of course, sponsorships!

As a NASCAR noob (I never grew up with NASCAR since I was born in Sweden; I grew up with rallying, folk racing and hill climb racing), I have only followed NASCAR since the 1990s, and my interest has grown ever since. My favourite driver Jeff Gordon retired last season, so now, without a favourite, I follow races more with the intent of catching some nice looking paint schemes to replicate in Forza rather than to root for a winner, but whatever goes on, I always enjoy the races (with the exception for rain delays) since the different types of ovals lead to so many kinds of racing (not to mention the few road courses)!

Note: these maneuvers can be (and were) performed at all levels of car upgrade, either with TSM bots or slower flagbots. Yet, the bots are used to ch... have fun, and since there's plenty of bots during the race, allien racing skills are not required!

In other EA news, Real Racing 3 has a new event starting today called the NASCAR Experience. This particular event has players taking controls of 700+ horsepower NASCAR Sprint Cup Series cars, racing them in the Federated Auto Parts 400 on the famous Richmond International Raceway.

There are plenty of real world sponsors coming on board with official cars including Hendrick Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Richard Childress Racing, Roush Fenway Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing, and Team Penske. This also means you can choose an official team and race alongside racing legends like Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Busch.

Virtual racing has become the only way for drivers to promote their partners during stay-at-home orders, and teams have recognized the value in having their drivers participate. But what started as fun became very serious business and snowballed Sunday night when Larson used the N-word while trying to communicate with his spotter. Almost all of his sponsors dropped him the next day, and he was fired by Ganassi.

NASCAR quickly pivoted from real racing when its season was suspended March 13 during the coronavirus pandemic to the virtual platform. Its broadcasts set several esports viewing records for broadcast partner Fox, but the novelty wore off after Bubba Wallace was fired by a sponsor for rage quitting a race and then Kyle Larson used a racial slur while on the platform Easter Sunday. He was fired by Chip Ganassi Racing for the incident.

Qualifying was pulled out of the dirt racing playbook. There were five, eight-lap qualifying events and a 15-lap last-chance race to come up with the 30 competitors (regularly 36 in the series) for the 150-lap Mudsummer Classic. The feature race was broken into three segments of 60, 50 and 40 laps.

DraftKings began offering daily fantasy games on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at the end of March. Fanduel hosted the first daily fantasy esports game for drone racing at the beginning of April for the finals of the 2020 Drone Racing League global simulator tryouts. ff782bc1db
