What is SEPAG?
SEPAG is a parent-driven group charged with providing input to the school district on system level challenges in special education and related services. SEPAG opens the door to collaboration.
Who can be a member?
School Administration, BOE Members, Teachers, CST Professionals, Parents, Students, etc. Membership should be as inclusive as possible.
An effective SEPAG that uses parental input can:
Help improve educational outcomes and well-being for all students with disabilities.
Help identify unmet needs.
Help shape the development of programs, services, and policies.
A SEPAG is not:
A limited campaign dedicated to addressing a single issue.
A Special Education PTO/PTA.
Why should I get involved in my local SEPAG?
To offer the opportunity to raise questions, voice concerns, and provide direct input to school leadership.
