Curriculum

The following curriculum outlines what we would like our children to learn at each grade level. 

When starting out the semester with a new student, use the following assessment first to determine the student's math background and check out the activities page for ideas on how to teach each of these skills.

(for example, 8 + 50 + 90 = 74 + 74 = 108 + 40)

• Using coins and number lines to demonstrate addition and subtraction (jumping to friendly numbers, compensation, etc.) (22)
