Az Angol Műhely Kulturális Egyesület a 2023-2024-es tanév második félévében újra meghirdeti angol nyelvű olvasási versenyét. A verseny 2001-ben indult Debrecenben, majd fokozatosan egyre több magyar városba eljutott, Debrecen mellett Nyíregyházán, Egerben és most már Miskolcon is külön megyei döntőket szervezünk.

A verseny 2001-ben indult Debrecenben, majd fokozatosan egyre több magyar városba eljutott, Debrecen mellett Nyíregyházán, Egerben és most már Miskolcon is külön megyei döntőket szervezünk.
Az idén a határontúli olvasók is bekapcsolódnak a versenybe: Nagyváradon is rendezünk megyei döntőt. A megyei döntők legjobbjai pedig a tanév végén regionális döntőben mérhetik össze tudásukat. Ez lesz az Ideas to Share, amelynek fődíja egy angliai utazás. Versenyünket 2024-ben is a megszokott formában hirdetjük meg, azonban digitális oktatás esetén a versenyzők számára online is elérhetővé tesszük az olvasmányokat és feladatlapjainkat.
Új könyvvel és feladatlapokkal is jelentkezünk. Az először tavaly meghirdetett ’Unabridged’ kategóriában, ahol nem könnyített olvasmányokat, hanem az eredeti műveket olvassák a versenyzők, az idén egy rendkívül különleges kortárs regénnyel, Rachel Ward lebilincselő Számok című művével lehet bekapcsolódni a versenybe.
A versenyünk előnyei:
olvasásra ösztönöz, a nyelv gyakorlása mellett a gyerekek értékes irodalmi művekkel ismerkednek meg, a feladatlapok beépíthetők a nyelvóra anyagába
a STAGE 6 kategória feladatlapjaihoz egyesületünk munkatársai az Egyesült Királyságban készítettek hallgatási gyakorlatokat, így versenyünk a szöveghallgatási készséget is fejleszti
a különböző iskolákból érkező diákok az angol nyelv és az irodalmi művek révén kerülhetnek kapcsolatba egymással
a felkészítő tanárok számára 10 tanulónként egy ajándékkönyvet biztosítunk. Az ajándékkönyvek az olvasmányok listájáról kiválaszthatók illetve kérhető meglepetés könyv is.

2024. február 19 – 2024. június 11.
Beküldési határidők:
A könyveket az első forduló feladatlapjaival telefonos egyeztetés után
2024. március 4-6. között (szerda-péntek) juttatjuk el az iskolákba. Ekkora kell összegyűjteni a nevezési díjakat is, amelyet egyesületünk munkatársa a könyvek és feladatlapok átadásakor átvesz.
Az első forduló beküldési határideje:
2024. március 18. hétfő
A második forduló feladatlapjait az első forduló
összegyűjtésekor juttatjuk el az iskolákba.

A harmadik forduló feladatlapjait a 2. forduló összegyűjtésekor juttatjuk el az iskolákba.

A feladatlapok visszajuttatása:
A verseny fordulóinak folyamatossága érdekében a feladatlapok összegyűjtésekor eljuttatjuk az iskolákba az újabb forduló feladatlapjait, valamint az értékelt feladatlapokat. A harmadik forduló értékelt feladatlapjait az eredményhirdetés után, legkésőbb 2024. május 21-ét követően juttatjuk el az iskolákba.

IDEAS TO SHARE
A nagysikerű Reading in English Competition regionális döntőjében négy megye legjobbjai mérték össze tudásukat: angol nyelvű prezentációkat tartottak olvasmányaik alapján. Az Ideas to Share verseny megrendezésére a tavalyi évben 2023. május 31-én a debreceni Tóth Árpád Gimnáziumban került sor. Az idén majd 2024. június 11-én az előző évi győztes, Dezső Laura Emma iskolájában, a nyíregyházi Kölcsey Ferenc Gimnáziumban lesz a döntő, amelynek fődíja egy angliai utazás.

Minden jelentkező diák a felsorolt könyvek közül válasszon egyet, a nevezéseket elegendő az iskolában közösen, a mellékelt jelentkezési lapon feltüntetni.
