Versenykiírás 2026
Az Angol Műhely Kulturális Egyesület a 2026-2027-es tanév első félévében újra meghirdeti angol nyelvű olvasási versenyét. A verseny 2001-ben indult Debrecenben, majd fokozatosan egyre több magyar városba eljutott, Debrecen mellett Nyíregyházán, Egerben és Miskolcon is külön megyei döntőket szervezünk. A határontúli olvasók is bekapcsolódhatnak a versenybe: Nagyváradon is rendezünk megyei döntőt. A megyei döntők legjobbjai pedig a tanév végén regionális döntőben mérhetik össze tudásukat. Ez lesz az Ideas to Share, amelynek fődíja egy angliai utazás. Új könyvekkel és feladatlapokkal is jelentkezünk. A Stage 1 szinten egy igaz történet érkezik Ausztráliából: Ned Kelly színrelép. A Stage 2 kategória olvasóit pedig Mark Twain örökbecsű klasszikusával, a koldus és a királyfi történetével ismertetjük meg: The Prince and the Pauper. Egy újabb kategória is megjelent a 2026-os versenyben: ez a Comic-Strip Starter, ebben a kategóriában az egészen könnyű, képregényes formában megírt, 24 oldalas rövid olvasmányaink találhatók. Ezeket leginkább az általános iskolák 4. osztályos tanulóinak ajánljuk. A Dominoes sorozat olvasmányai (pl. a Hercules vagy a Moby-Dick) pedig a megújult Epic Starter kategóriába kerülnek.

A Reading in English Competition verseny első vagy második félévében bármelyik kategóriában az első hat helyezés valamelyikét elért versenyzők lehetőséget kapnak arra, hogy választott olvasmányukkal illetve olvasmányaik egyikével jelentkezzenek az Ideas to Share 2027 regionális versenyre, amelyre megyénként a három legjobb versenyzőt hívjuk be. Az olvasmány alapján ki kell választaniuk azt a gondolatot, elképzelést, látásmódot, ötletet, amelyet ebből a könyvből merítettek és amelyet szívesen megosztának másokkal (Ideas to Share). És ezt kell bemutatniuk egy maximum 6 perces angol nyelvű előadás keretében majd a regionális döntőben a zsűri és a közönség előtt. Az előadáshoz bemutató (PPT, Prezi stb) készíthető.
A legjobbak kiválasztása előre elkészített izgalmas Tik-tok jellegű videókkal történik. Minden pályázónak egy maximum félperces figyelemfelkeltő bemutatkozó videót kell készítenie, amelyben ő és a könyv is szerepel és saját szavaival bemutatja olvasmányát és az ideát, amelyet meg szeretne osztani velünk.

Fődíja egy 12 napos angliai utazás.

A könyveket az első forduló feladatlapjaival telefonos egyeztetés után
2026. október 6-8. között (kedd - csüt.) juttatjuk el az iskolákba. Ekkora kell összegyűjteni a nevezési díjakat is, amelyet egyesületünk munkatársa a könyvek és feladatlapok átadásakor átvesz.
Az első forduló beküldési határideje:
2026. október 20. kedd
A második forduló feladatlapjait az első forduló
összegyűjtésekor juttatjuk el az iskolákba.

A feladatlapok visszajuttatása:
A verseny fordulóinak folyamatossága érdekében a feladatlapok összegyűjtésekor eljuttatjuk az iskolákba az újabb forduló feladatlapjait, valamint az értékelt feladatlapokat. A harmadik forduló értékelt feladatlapjait az eredményhirdetés után, legkésőbb 2026. december 15-ét követően juttatjuk el az iskolákba.

IDEAS TO SHARE
A nagysikerű Reading in English Competition regionális döntőjében öt megye legjobbjai mérték össze tudásukat: angol nyelvű prezentációkat tartottak olvasmányaik alapján. Az Ideas to Share verseny megrendezésére az előző tanévben 2026. június 4-én a debreceni Tóth Árpád Gimnáziumban került sor.

Secrets, mistaken identities, surprise revelations, amnesia, locked rooms and locked asylums, and an unorthodox villain made this mystery thriller an instant success when it first appeared in 1860, and it has continued to enthrall readers ever since.

Black Beauty soon finds this out, and as he describes his life, he has many terrible stories to tell.

Minden jelentkező diák a felsorolt könyvek közül válasszon egyet, a nevezéseket elegendő az iskolában közösen, a mellékelt jelentkezési lapon feltüntetni.
