1. No Account & Local File Processing
No Registration: We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Local Processing: The App is designed as a local tool. All file operations—including viewing, editing, scanning, and format conversion—are performed locally on your device. We do not upload your documents or images to any cloud server. Your private files remain exclusively in your control.
2. Information We Automatically Collect
To improve app stability and support our free services via advertising, we work with trusted third-party partners who may collect:
Device Information: Device model, OS version, time zone, language, and network connection type.
Identifiers: Advertising ID (GAID/IDFA) and Push Notification Tokens (FCM Token).
Usage Data: Crash logs, performance diagnostics, and feature usage statistics.
3. Permissions & Background Services
To provide core functionality, we request the following permissions:
Manage External Storage (All Files Access): Required to scan, list, read, edit, rename, and delete document files (PDF, Word, Excel, etc.) on your device.
Camera: Required for the Scan to PDF feature. Images are processed locally.
Post Notifications: To send you file status alerts and utility reminders.
4. Third-Party Services (Advertising)
We use third-party SDKs to display advertisements. These partners may access your Advertising ID to show personalized ads.

Part II: Terms of Service
By downloading or using Expert PDF Reader: Editor & Scan, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
Expert Doc Team grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
2. User Responsibility (Local Data)
You acknowledge that the App processes data locally. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, user error, or App malfunction. Please back up important documents regularly.
3. Notification & Feature Disclaimer
The App provides file management tools and may send notifications regarding device status (e.g., "Storage usage alerts" or "Junk file reminders").
Disclaimer: These notifications are generated based on general device parameters or timed logic to assist with file organization. They are for informational and utility purposes only and do not indicate a critical hardware failure or system virus unless explicitly stated by the Android system.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the App to distribute malware, infringe upon intellectual property rights, or attempt to reverse engineer the App's source code.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Expert Doc Team shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
