This Privacy Policy describes how Read and Cut PDF PRO ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our Android application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
The App allows you to select PDF files stored on your device. These files are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party.
The App stores the following data only on your device:
Recent files history: file names and paths of recently opened PDFs, used to provide quick access to your documents.
This data is stored using Android's standard local storage (SharedPreferences) and remains on your device at all times. You can clear it at any time from within the App.
We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.
We do not access, read, copy, or transmit the content of your PDF files.
We do not collect location data.
We do not require account registration.
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including:
Device advertising ID
IP address (used to infer approximate location for ad targeting)
Interaction data with ads (clicks, impressions)

The App does not integrate analytics platforms, crash reporting services, or any other third-party data collection services beyond AdMob.
The App requests the following Android permissions:

The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, call logs, or location.
Note on QR Code detection: The App can detect QR codes visible on PDF pages. This is performed entirely on-device using image processing of the page currently displayed on screen. No image data is sent to external servers.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
Advertising partners (Google AdMob) as described in Section 3.1.
Legal requirements: if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
When you use the "Share" feature, files are shared through Android's standard sharing system to apps of your choice. We have no control over how third-party apps handle shared files.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
All PDF processing (splitting, merging, QR detection) is performed locally on your device. Since we do not transmit your files or personal data to external servers, the risk of data interception during transmission does not apply to the core features of the App.
Advertising-related data transmitted to Google is protected by Google's own security measures.
Local history: stored on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App.
Ad-related data: managed by Google AdMob according to their own retention policies.
We do not retain any user data on our servers, as we do not collect or transmit user data.
You have the right to:
Access and delete your local history at any time within the App (Home screen → Clear History).
Opt out of personalized advertising via Android device settings.
Uninstall the App at any time, which removes all locally stored data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
