RESEARCHING, LEARNING AND TRYING OUT UNITY WITH VUFORIA
Most of our time went on research about Unity and the AR library Vuforia, since we had minor experience with these frameworks. We were able to setup Vuforia with Unity and try to run a simple AR project on an android device. After achieving this we managed to map some simple models with real-life cards to see if they got detected. Our next step will be to add the basic logic that is needed to generate a board and to detect collisions.

MAKING MORE COMPLEX MODELS, ADDING COLLISION DETECTION AND OTHER PHYSICS
This time we managed to add basic physics on the ball. The ball can now roll to a specific direction, collide with walls and change direction after collision. We are also able to place walls by using real-life cards. These walls can also interact with the ball and make it move. Our next goal will be to make the board fixed after placement and to add obstacles, goal and a simple user interface with buttons either on the screen or on the board itself which would be cool!

USING NEW IMAGE TARGETS, CREATING BUTTONS ON MODELS AND A UI
This time our goal was to get better image target for better tracking and placing of models through the camera. We also added buttons on top of the board which the user can interact with to start the game. And a small tutorial screen which gives the user some info about how to play the game. The models are also getting slightly better to look at but the physics are still the same. Our goals for the next week will be to optimize and tweak the game itself and to maybe add more features.

TRYING TO OPTIMIZE THE GAME PHYSICS, FIXING BUGS AND FINALIZING
We have been encountering some challenges with the physics in AR, which we spent a lot of time to debug and correct. As for the game objectives, we have been implementing and connecting the core functionalities which makes our game playable for our users. We will be working mostly with getting the game ready for the DEMO that we will have next week. And we will add some more pictures and videos from the game here in the upcoming days.

We made it! The game contains a simple main menu where you can select between 4 different levels with increasing difficulty. Only thing you need is the AR Tag and apk file of this game. Run it and play!
