Artist Bio

Kate Marley (she/her/hers) is a passionate and driven Korean-American actor, photographer, and visual artist based in Los Angeles. She is currently on the journey of discovering what being an adoptee means to her and how it forms her Asian American identity as an adult.

How Does Your Identity Affect Your Work?

The majority of my work stems from my interest in Korean and Japanese culture—the former being my blood and the latter being something I’ve always appreciated. As a Korean-American adoptee, my relationship to my Asianness through my art allows me to own my sense of comfort, understanding, and pride.
