Giwu Ibon (he/him/his) is a third year English major at UCLA. He enjoys all forms of art and is often described as a jack of all trades, master of none. His current projects include working on his time management skills, learning the piano, and himself.

How Does Your Identity Affect Your Work?

I'm sure that early cave-people grunted and smashed things in glee when they first saw their stories painted on the side of the cave wall, emboldening them to go out and hunt and build legacies. In our modern caves, our walls are filled with figures who do not represent us and stories that our not our own. It's time that we start leaving our art for future generations – so that they can look up at the stories we left, know that they can face the danger, and build.
