REGIS: REading Group
in Innovation Studies

Welcome!  REGIS is a bi-weekly, pan-European virtual reading group series focusing on Science, Technology, and Innovation topics. REGIS’ main objectives are twofold. First, it seeks to train young scholars. We want to help Ph.D. students and early-career researchers to learn new developments and develop their critical thinking by discussing in a friendly and stimulating environment some of the most relevant and recent papers in the field. Second, it aims at nurturing a community of scholars interested in such topics.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Please register if you want to attend.

We meet on Zoom every second Friday from 12.30 to 13.30 CET.

Next seminar

On November 1, 2024, Jingze Wang (University College London, Great Britain) will present the following paper:
Peng, H., Qiu, H. S., Fosse, H. B., & Uzzi, B. (2024). Promotional language and the adoption of innovative ideas in science. Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 121(25), e2320066121. DOI: 10.1073/pnas.2320066121

Stay tuned for the 2025 Summer School

Meeting virtually is nice, but meeting in the real world is even nicer! That is the reason why we started organizing the REGIS Summer School back in 2023. The next edition will be a 4-day in-person event taking place in Bordeaux in June 2025. Please check the Summer School page in due time for additional information.
