This coach knows what he’s doing and although some of this stuff is pretty basic, there are some very good insights in these videos. Pay attention!
We’ll probably start in small boats when we get back on the water, so this is good stuff to know.
There are some very interesting bits in this documentary. Again, it’s a good idea to learn a little history and get a better idea of the world of rowing. In college Mike Vespoli used to come and take our (Georgetown) crews out to dinner occasionally and he was always asking us how we thought he could make the boats better. He is an important figure in the development of U.S. rowing.
