"It's haunted, you know."

Your friend looks at you, smirking. "I bet you're too scared to go in that old house over there."

You eye the house - it's old, alright. It's covered in spiderwebs and falling apart as if nobody has lived there or cared for it in decades. It's giving off this vibe - like it's saying, "Stay away."

But you can't let your friend know you don't want to get closer. She'll think you're chicken. Before you can say anything, she says, "I dare you."

Oh no. You can't turn down a dare... You walk to the gate, and it opens of its own accord, creaking and moaning. You can almost here it screaming, "Nooooooo."

You turn around, hesitant. Your friend lifts one eyebrow and throws down the ultimate challenge. "Double dare you."

Well, there's no going back now. You march up to the front door. It swings open...
